We stayed Thursday during a peak time and we thought the bar, lounge or something should have been open later than 8pm. Yes it's very close to the Tropicana and other bars/ restaurants/casinos but there were times we wanted the convenience of being able to get food and/ or drinks in the hotel we were staying. The staff was friendly... More

Despite the hotel reviews, my boyfriend and I decided to stay at The Chelsea in the Luxe tower because it was inexpensive, compared to the other casino hotels. At first, I was impressed with the hotel lobby. Very clean and had an old school feel to. We booked the Life's a Beach package which included, complimentary beach chairs and one... More

We stayed at the Chelsea last weekend and it is in a terrible state! The rooms are a mess! The curtain was missing from one of our windows and what curtains they had were falling down off the window and the walls of the elevators were chipped. Some members of our party stayed in the Annex and the room was... More

Right on the boardwalk, very clean and the staff was amazing. The restaurant on the first floor was wonderful for brunch. The pool area could use some landscaping and the beach chairs/umbrellas should be free for hotel guests but other that that, it was a perfect spot. I would certainly visit again in the summer!

My husband and I found this to be a very nice hotel. Room size is large and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel had good food and plentiful. The guy working the valet parking was very nice check in and check out was easy Will book again.

In the words of my 8 and 5 years old children "this was the worst hotel ever!" We arrived at 5:40 to check in. We were told that we had the last room in the Luxe and that we needed to wait 5-10 mins for the room to be cleaned. 1 hour later we were still waiting. We were offered... More

Pictures do not reflect the general state of disrepair and filth. Carpets in the room were spotted. Pillow cases had holes worn through. Hallways and lobby fared no better and did not appear to be cleaned during our three day stay. The restaurant tables were so sticky that the menu and glasses were sticking......prompting us to leave. On the positive... More

They advertise luxury but it's far from it. Absolutely not worth paying $300+ for a king size bed. Your ocean view can be seen when u stick your head out the window you can barely open. Also, even the crappiest of places in AC allow you to turn the air on higher than 68 degrees. (We did not get a good... More

We had chosen this hotel when we came across an economical package inclusive of food credit, valet-parking - we live in New York City and were going to drive - and some other offerings. We checked into this hotel yesterday for our two-night stay. Being a former hotelier, I have some findings after spending the first 24 hours - Pros:... More

This is an ok hotel. Nothing spectacular or luxurious. Was probably great when it opened but you can clearly tell it has not been maintained properly and is looking shabby and run down. Location is good. View from our room was amazing. Bed was comfy. We were in a king ocean view lux. 5th floor restaurant was nice for happy... More
