When my girlfriend and I got this "all inclusive" hotel, we discovered that it wasn't all inclusive at all. They charged us extra for the safe, a daily fee of $6.00, which I agree, is a low amount, but still felt ridiculous and inconvenient given their "All inclusive" advertisement. If we wanted internet service, that was another $6.00 for 30... More

First I went here because they advertised scuba diving and I heard there hotel in cartegena was beautiful. There was no diving available, I had to travel a hour away to dive.Room was not clean and was old including sheets. Gordon Ramsay should go here for a hotel nightmare. Food was horrible

Was encouraged to take this trip by a travel agent via phone. We were told Coastal Columbia commonly spoke English and were directed to a website that promised on-site snorkeling and bright blue Caribbean waters. Well, NO one spoke English and not that they SHOULD have, but we were led to believe that would be the case. Further, the majority... More

Good food, quiet beach and many activities to do. During dinner you might have to share your table with other people. That is a little annoying since sometimes you just want to be with your partner or family. Other than that it is really nice is the shows that the hotel offers

I stayed there with my husband and my little girl, and I was very happy with our room, with the food (especially breakfast), and with the general ambiance. Not all the employees were helpful, or nice, but most of them were, and they handled any of my concerns in a timely manner. In general, I was satisfied with the place,... More

I recently stayed in this place for a medical school reunion . From May 24 to May 26/2012 . I have lots of expectations because I stayed at the Decameron Baru before in Cartagena . I was dissapointed . PROs:The location is good close to the airport and the view is nice .The beach is nice and would be a... More

This Hotel is convenient located 10 minutes from airport the hotel is a medium sprawling resort encompassing 2 swimming pools, four restaurants and average manicured grounds. Located on an average beach, the sea is very warm and quite calm..so good for kids...it does not however have that "Turquoise" look that you may expect . The staff were very helpful. The... More

This place is pretty darn good - all inclusive - we had an apartment on the ocean all inclusive for like 140 USD per night for 2 people. It's not fancy - and doesn't cater to a high end crowd like the Decameron Baru Island - but it's perfectly fine for us. The food isn't the best - but it's... More

Good beach-front location and food is OK - never got ill from eating here unlike their sister hotel in El Salvador! Just a short taxi ride from Santa Marta town and at the foot of the hills where the lost city is - seems there are helicopter day trips available weather permitting. Beach is fine, unlike what some of the... More
