First of all the island stands alone, 425 miles in the Caribbean Sea. There is three levels of policing/army on the island and you can't walk... more

My husband and I decided to spend a week in San Andres, so we asked many friends for opinions about where to stay. Replies were unanimous "you must stay at the Decameron". Too bad none of them specified which Decameron we should choose. We finally decided to stay at Decameron San Luis, once we arrived there from the airport (we... more

I just returned Thursday from a 1 week stay in the all-inclusive Decameron Maryland. Please be advised before you read on, that I travel a lot and that I have stayed in no stars to five stars and everything in between! I am a solo traveller who hates to be confined to a resort; I like to have a town... more

We stayed at the Maryland from March 29 - April 5th 2007. The weather was excellent, night and day...temperatures were perfect. No need for a sweater at all. It rained a few days but not long. Our Resort: It is a small resort and is right next to the airport and you do hear the planes go by 5 times... more

Review Let me start with the great things first. The service and food is outstanding, staff is very friendly and helping. The room I stayed in was very roomy and clean (room 235). This rooms also has a balcony and facing the beach. The island is a great tropical getaway. It is located about an hour flight south from cuba.... more

My boyfriend and I just returned from our 2nd visit to the Decameron Mary Land in San Andres. We were there in March of this year and back from Oct 9th to 16th. The fact that we returned says a lot. Over the last few years we have been to Cuba, Mexico, Barbados, St. Lucia, Bahamas, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Brazil,... more

The best part about this vacation is goin to other resorts (free for all decamerons) Go to this island but don't stay at this... more

We got to this hotel because of the review on tripadvisor.com. Good choice. The hotel is small and not a lot of American or Canadian tourist go there (give me a break, I'm on vacation ;))...food is excellent, 5 min walk from the most beautiful beach. We've been to all decameron on this Island and this is defenatly my favorite.... more
