Hotel antigo, quartos bem antigos, sem praias próximas. Perto do centro, mas distante se a pé, inclusive porque o caminho andando seria pela pista de carros. The location could be disastrous if you're looking for a beach getaway, or intending to go outside the hotel. The beach in front of the hotel is timid, just a thin clogged strip of... More

Bad Location, Unfriendly Little Beach. Beds are Terrible, Like sleeping on Thin Ply Wood. They Say all Inclusive, But You Still Have to Pay for Safe in Room, Pay for Wi-Fi. Refrigerator is Empty. Only Have one Small Bottle of Water in Room (Asked for More Water but never received) , Signs saying Be Careful of Tap Water. Shower is... More

We are frequent traveler's, easy going and like different experiences. We go away 3 times a year and go to non inclusives and all inclusives. We had visited this resort a few years back and looked forward to returning. It had been a good experience back then. Unfortunately, the resort lacked 'wow' factor big times. Newly sold to new investors,... More

Once again (okay, for the 6th time) we spent a week at our favourite resort. The staff are very pleasant (particularly Almira, the lady who cleaned our room, and Marly, our favourite bartender of all time). The food was very good at the a-la-carte restaurants, a little repetitive at the buffet. The resort seems to be changing over to a... More

We enjoy our time at the Marazul, the staff was very great, always smily even if it is not everyone who speaks English. The site is quite small: small beach, small restaurant and mid-size pool, but there's public beaches near the hotel and they're beautiful. But it's very quiet and calm. The room are average. The food is great, a... More

TripAdvisor, At San Andres Decameron Marazul, Jan 6 to 12th, 2015, older hotel but clean etc… could use some upgrading. Some strange things though… who goes to Columbia to only get Miller Lite beer? Almost never had any other kind! Also no limes/fruit,etc at bar? Workout room with only one pin in Universal gym so only one person could work... More

Positives: rooms spacious and clean, plenty of hot water and water pressure, hotel staff changed our mattress within one hour when we complained about it (was like lying on a box-spring) great service at the front desk, Location is lovely you can see unspoiled nature, kayak through the adjacent mangrove reserve, see or do tons of kite sailing in the... My wife and I visited San Andres Island in November of 2005, and this was my first trip to an all-inclusive resort. Quite a shock to see guards with sub machine guns at the airport, but the locals didn't seem overly concerned about it. The resort was nice, and we had a great second floor room overlooking the pool. We... More

The location of the hotel is pretty good with Mangroves, a tiny island called El Acuario across, shallow waters, and also with a fab Kyte surfing school next door. The beach is pretty and a good feeling of space. The building is dated and the rooms pretty basic but at least they have ac, the gym basic and cleanliness is... More
