Just arrived back from a week in SAI with my 3 girlfriends all in our 40's. Stayed at the Aquarium and believe that was absolutely the right choice for us. we went with our 3 children ages 15, 16 and 10, we all had a wonderfull time, We will go again, the kids had fun, the older boys were able to shop and go around by themsleves our daughter had to be dragged from the pool or ocean, the trips we took were great; the staff is lovely, allll good! more

So we stayed at the Aquarium during dec. 30th to Jan. 3rd. We had a nice time, the hotel staff was very polite and helpful, I think that and the food are the best things about the hotel. We left December 27th and returned January 3, 2008 Average hotel - not 4 star - and only because it needs updating and they are starting to rennovate. Fourth time on the island, second at the Decameron Aquarium. Average hotel, but beatiful scenery from the room (room 104, tower 1 has the best view) beatiful island and amazing people, friendly very helpful. Good food. Will be back in couple of months or sooner hopefully. more

We have just returned from spending 2 weeks at the Aquarium. Stayed here 2 yrs ago but was not as great as this year, they are putting a lot of work into improving this hotel. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (all-inclusive) as part of a longer visit to Colombia booked through a travel agent. I've just been reading some of the other reviews and I have to say that they are pretty accurate. Me and my family stayed at the resort for three days, and although checking in is an absolute nightmare, booking your meals is a disaster if you plan to sleep in later than 8am and then the food is not great... more
