Our stays recently at the Empress have all been excellent. I love the staff as well as the location. Rooms are always clean. The club Tabu is fun as well. They also have karaoke nights which are a blast. I highly recommend Empress.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Empress Hotel! The staff is friendly and fun while being professional. The rooms are cozy and clean, the decor has its roots planted in some "I remember the 70s" fun. And there is a famous club on sight, if you're there for nightly fun too. I was there with my boyfriend and his... More

We made a quick trip to the beach and decided to stay overnight. Our first stay at the Empress and it really couldn't have been any nicer. We had a double room on the ocean side which was clean and comfy with nice and fresh linens, extra towels and plump pillows. All the staff we met were just lovely and... More

Booked last minute on Saturday morning, threw bags in the car, kids in the car seat and off we were to the shore. The location of this property can't be beat, its right across from the board walk, so when traveling with two young children ability to go across the street is just priceless to me. As its been mentioned... More

We stayed at The Empress so we could be with friends who were visiting from out of state and also staying there. The staff was incredibly friendly and everyone we encountered was great. They were accommodating about letting us leave our car in the lot during the day while we walked around even though we had checked out. The location... More

f your room looks towards the beach, big deal, 90% do. Of course they also look out over a street and buildings in front of the beach! In the winter, straight people may enjoy this hotel which houses one of the only gay dance clubs at the shore. During the summer from Friday thru Sunday night, The club and most... More

Our location is great location for stone pony concerts, and if you come in the summer we have rooms that look at the summer stage. This makes concert viewing very relaxing.
