In the midst of the coffee triangle, nestled in the lush greenery, hidden within a gated community you'll find this very cute little hotel spa. The rooms aren't very impressive. Think of it as an old mansion converted into a hotel where the bedrooms became the hotel rooms. Staff is very friendly, English is not their forte, but they make... More

After doing a LOT of traveling throughout Colombia, I can easily say that Sazagua is my favourite hotel in the coffee region and in the country! The owners and the staff are incredibly welcoming and they will move mountains to make sure you are happy. Plus, their gardens, pool and spa are unbeatable - I always make sure to get... More

Loved my stay. Beautiful area near the city of Pereira. It is a big house turned into a cute hotel. Full of well cared lawns and trees. It has a pool and is nicely quiet. Enjoyed every meal. The staff was helpful and attentive.

Wow, try and find a way to stay here as a splurge for your coffee region tour. We used it as a last night in Colombia to be near the airport, and I am really glad we did. It is really beautiful. Has a great pool and pleasant grounds. The standard room was small but luxurious, with its own little... More

Very well located, tastefully decorated, beautiful gardens swimming pool & SPA. Excellent food at their restaurant and a lovely breakfast service. But the best part is the people who run it. Their smiles and good vibes add a lot. The owners are present and a great source for hidden gems of info on what to do in the region. By... More

Great spa in the middle of Pereira. If you are planning for a couple gateway for the weekend this is the place. Eje cafetero is very large but you can manage for going only for rest. The spa is great offering all kind of services you may need. Accomodations seem regular. It is a great manor recently made as an... More

My wife and I stayed 4 nights in one of their suites. Pretty, secluded location, very comfortable but could use a little more light to read by. Restaurant was good, nice menu, well prepared food, pleasant setting and excellent service. We both had massages at the spa which were very relaxing and enjoyable. Visited the surrounding Eje Cafetero using a... More

We visited Sazagua for lunch and to use the pool facilities. We have been to the Sazagua before and love it for the peaceful haven it is, outside of the city. Lunch was perfect, the staff great, we had the pool and the garden to ourselves. It was lovely to simply fall asleep by the pool, listening to the birds.... More

The higly prized Sazagua has a wonderful site and really rustique rooms and all. The offering of services however, is only remotedly connected to the actual delivery when it comes to the exquisite culinary experiences. Such a shame that this pearl of a place misses out so badly on service orientation and food quality. Price performance on food is completely... More

We stayed there for 3 days in January 2014, and we really loved it. It's perfect to relax on the pool. The food is good, but it gets a bit boring after a few days. The area is safe (it's a few kms outside the city), and good for trips to Valle del Cocora. You should visit "Cafe Don Manolo",... More
