We stayed in 61 Prado for two nights when travelling through Central and South America. # Look and Feel - looks like a normal house from the outside - Very nice, relaxed atmosphere inside the hotel - excellent and very homely and comfortable lobby area - Prado quarter is not the most fancy neighbourhood, but authentic (compared to the rather... We stayed at Prado61 for 7nights and are happy we did. The decor is very nice and historic touches of the home have been saved. The neighborhood is not the most scenic but it is only 3-4 blocks from the wonderful metro system which takes you everywhere. The guesthouse is immaculate and very quiet plus the rooftop has spectacular views... More

The 61Prado has nice rooms, especially the suite is very spacious. The bathroom would need renovation. The whole property is in a good condition. What I don't understand is the condition of the roof terrace from where you have stunning views, especially in the evening. Unfortunately zou find a plastic chair and that's it... The enclosed restaurant is a top... More

I had originally booked this property for 4 nights and upon arrival the first night decided to move to another hotel. The property itself is very nice with a very good priced restaurant right after the entry way but the room (top floor suite) had plastic pillows, hot water was not functioning properly and was out of water for a... My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of November. We were very happy upon arrival! The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are huge and clean. The fan worked well and we were comfortable the whole time - even on warmer days. The rooftop deck was a fun feature and we had a good time taking pictures up... More

The hotel is centred around their kitchen to your right as you enter. They have great food at excellent prices. The room i booked was excellent value $55 aud per night for a junior suite. As a solo traveller great to find other English speaking guests. Good community feel but with the privacy of your own room. It can be... More

Lobby and restaurant were nice; food and service were good. The room, however was unbearable. The beds were hard as rocks, sheets never stayed on, bathroom was tiny-water on floor when we arrived and shower curtain smelled bad, tv didn't work-fuzzy, no shampoo available on the premises, no view of anything from windows, loaner hair dryer didn't work for more... The inside of 61Prado is very different from the outside, and that's a good thing. The neighborhood is up-and-coming (and sometimes downright dodgy), and if I was traveling solo for pleasure I would be wary. But because i was traveling for work, which was also located in the neighborhood, this place was perfect. Clean, good wifi, good restaurant -- and... More

I had a very good time at 61Prado. We had booked the Junior Suite, for 95,000 pesos per night (50 USD), breakfast not included. The room was very large, clean, with comfortable bedding. The shower has good water pressure, with hot water. The whole place is nice although a bit dark. It is finely decorated in a quite sophisticated style,... More

I stayed 5 nights at the guesthouse and sleeping was very difficult. The rooms are large and clean and have no ventilation. All windows go to the inside and one has to hear every guest coming, going, talking and one time someone even moved the drapes away and stared into my room. If one closes the window the rooms are...
