I liked The Palm Tree a lot. The staff members are extremely nice and helpful, I felt very welcomed there. The hostel is very clean, they provide daily cleaning service of the rooms. Towels are with no extra fee. The location is very convenient - in a quite neighborhood, but with very easy access to everything - nearest metro station... More

The staff at this hotel was very nice and helpful. It seemed to be in a safe part of town, but not accessible to very many interesting things by foot. I think the price is reasonable, but we found comparable hostels for the same price in an area that was much more entertaining. We moved to another hostel in Parque... More

Nice neighborhood, though local nightlife can be a bit boring. Have to taxi to Poblado or wherever the party is. Calle 70 sometimes has stuff open, though not much luck on week nights. Great people, front service girls are cute as heck. There's a supermarket nearby.

A good hostel, with friendly and helpful staff, a nice backyard, clean kitchen, clean toilets, clean rooms... A bit expensive though (much more than what is written in the most recent Lonely Planet Colombia), for a basic dorm in an hostel in Colombia. Great location, but it gets a bit dodgy at night. Don't walk near the canal late at... More

I booked a single room (which ended up having three beds in it), but still the value did not match the cost (80,000). After two nights I moved two blocks away to the hotel Sauces del Estadio which was much better (and cheaper!). The staff at the Palm Tree was good, but I didn't sleep well due to the noise... More

What can I say that people didn't say before? Simple: this hostel is wonderful! I had planned stay there for a week no more but by the time i realized the Palm is the best choice for me... Finally i stayed there for one and a half month! There is a lot of advantages staying there: it's so clean (... More

This hostel is located in a very nice and safe part of the city. It is very near a huge supermarket and also a Metro station. The people working in the hostel were very, very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was really cheerful. There was a great kitchen which was well used. The common area was outside and pleasant. Very... More

We stayed two nights in this hostel. We were a group of four (two couples) and each couple had a large, clean and comfortable room. The common areas are somewhat old-fashioned and a bit small, but cosy. There are only 3 bathrooms for the whole hostel, which sometimes can be a bit short. The hostel is located close to the... More

Very good and friendly, the atmosphere was excellent. The house is very nice & tastefully decorated. It is kept very clean, near a metro stop, not far from the centre, in a good neighbourhood, for me was a good location.

We really enjoyed this hostal. The friendly staff was helpful and made us feel very welcome. The hostal is located in a great neighborhood, with lots of local, non touristy places nearby. But the place is on a busy street. You may hear trucks rumbling by or idling throughout the night. Bring earplugs or ask for a room not facing... More
