Of all the amazing boutique hotels in Cartagena, this place is pound-for-pound the best option. It combines an economical price range with totally intricate customer service and a homey feel. I wouldn't go expecting the absolute nicest hotel in the world, but in travelers terms, it is a "BEST BUY."

I agree completely with KFCB, the place is lovely, the location perfect, but the place needs renewing, the staff are lovely, but have received very little training, so they commit mistakes that make the place a poor value! I had a fantastic time in Caretagena, a must!! Casa Veranera´s owner should take care of the lovely place she has!
