This hotel gets a very bad rap in the reviews on different sites and most of it is probably deserved. Let me say from the outset that it is a one star hotel; it is an informal, beach-hostel, flip-flops, let-your-hair-down kind of hotel; it is a hotel that caters to locals rather than to foreigners. The hotel-plan is all-inclusive which... More

Only location is good. And one person on the front desk was very helpful. Anyway if you have problems or questions the staff will always help you. Food is very bad compare to other all-inclusive and only breakfast hotels in Cartagena where i have also been during my vacation. At the same time prices for rooms are very high. There... More

The pictures on the Internet looked very nice, but it wasn't like that. The hotel smelled bad, everything was really dirty, and they have horrible service. I called several times to request towels and toiletries, and they said that they were coming but never showed up. It's a shame because it's in a great location. I wouldn't recommended to anybody.

Dirty, ugly, terrible service, makeshift beds, no maintenance. The same breakfast and the same food every day, total chaos Too bad being Colombian and talking bad about this hotel. I and my family felt very bad at that hotel?

Starting with the positives here. So, staff friendly and welcoming. In particular the girls in the dining area were very good. The food was just ok. The breakfast arepas were possibly made from cardboard, 24 hrs before, but the eggs were good (scrambled, fried or boiled, as was the fruit selection, but good fruit disappeared quickly, and they were slow... In the middle of our second night someone used a key (either a master key or reception had given someone who had requested a key to our room) to get into our room at 1am. Upon our screams the person fled. When we told reception they were neither apologetic or helpful in resolving this. The safe in our room didn't... More

The room was horrible, I would not step into the pool because it looked so nasty. I was trying to stay at a cheap place in Cartagena, I was very upset that I had prepaid for this horrible hotel. There was never hot water, the AC was on nonstop and made out room feel like an ice box. The hotel... More

Very few positive things to relate about my 11-day stay there Decembver, 2011. Urge everyone to not stay there. Staff overall friendly, but obviously harrassed and micromanaged by ownership, which is hands-on controlling manangement, to the detriment of the entire place. No hot water, although requested it daily several times. Air conditioning frigid at night, no controls in room, so... More

I stayed at this hotel for 8 days and for me it was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ok the rooms need a lick of paint etc but it was nothing too bad. The food was very good in the hotel and varied. Outside the hotel you get the usual people selling souvenirs, tee shirts etc. If... More
