We were at the Almirante during the Christmas vacations. Overall, the hotel is very good: nice beds, large room, nice view of the sea and very clean. Location was also very good as the hotel is straight on la San Martin, with all its shops and restaurants. There is a huge Olimpica supermarket a block away which can be useful.... more

The Hotel Almirante Estelar perhaps has one star but definetely not five as they claim. I stayed there for four days and for the price they charge, the service it's not outstanding at all. Rooms are cleaned late around 2pm-5pm; the hotel manager is a rude lady who has no idea about customer service. But this is not the worst.... more

A very good hotel situated in Boca Grande, near the sea. The Hotel is situated 5 minutes by taxi from the old city (3 dollars a trip). The room is very big & confortable with a very good service and a very tasty brekfast The pool is small. Overall a very recomended Hotel in cartagena more

I stayed at the Almirante Estelar on Jan 4th and 5th of 2008 and found the hotel to be clean, upscale and one of the better-looking hotels in the Bocagrande area of Cartagena.
