The staff was really nice and always smiled. The location is close to the backpack area and ideal to explore the town from. The room is clean but basic. All accomodations are expensive in Cartagena so for price quality this place is pretty good but i will not give 4 stars for it as it isnt special

Quaint little b&b right in the heart of Getsemani. Room was very comfortable with air con (essential in Cartagena), and reasonably priced! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent and they offer 1pm checkout which is quite rare! Would definitely recommend!

Nice little hotel in a quiet residential road in Getsamani, a few minutes walk from dozens of bars and restaurants. It's also a 10 minute walk to the the walled city, so everything is easily negotiable on foot. Our room was good-sized, beds were ok and the air-conditioning was brilliant. It's a bit old, but it does the trick, also... More

We stayed at "Casa Carmen" for 6 nights and we really enjoyed it because: - the reception staff and also the Señoras preparing the breakfast were so friendly and nice. Always smiling! - the room was really comfortable and equipped with air con (which is really nice for Cartagena's heat) and fan and we absolutely enjoyed the rooftop terrace! -... More

Maria and senora Ruth, very kind, friendly and helpful. The other staff is also very nice. Room is very nice with own bathroom with shower and toilet, tv with a lot of channels, and a very necessary airco because of the November heat of Cartagena. Hot water is really not necessary. Hostal is centrally located in Getsemani, safe area -... More

Staff is present 24/7 at reception, always friendly and ready to help out. The hotel is very small, but that just makes it cosier. Rooms are a bit dirty, quite dusty, but you shouldn't care about that at this price! Every morning freshly made breakfast. Would recommend and stay here again!

I had a nice stay here, it is close to the hostel/bar district but around the corner enough that it is nice and quiet. The breakfast is okay, toast eggs and juice. Front desk couldn't find my Expedia booking when we got there at 10.30 pm, and didn't speak any English so we spent about 30 minutes behind the counter... More

Located in the best part of town for night life and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful and most of the rooms were big and spacious and clean. We even had one that had a huge balcony and the air-conditioning worked. The breakfast consisted of lots of traditional Colombian food and eggs and the fruit juice was not great.... More

I think I got the best room; upstairs, at the back, with one double and two singles. The hotel has a lovely little courtyard (thanks partly to the neighbours overhanging mango tree) and rooftop terrace, with view to the old fort. The furniture and decorations were tasteful traditional. Breakfast was simple and good Cartagena fare. The only downsides were a... More

Maria at the front was superb. Very helpful and did more than asked, several times. Other staff good too! Nice room, nice breakfast, good area close to everything. Quiet at night. good aircon. I would recommend it. Other travellers there. Nice rooftop terrace, good view.
