I went with my family last weekend, you could argue that the hotel is not suited for children, but on the contrary, it was a great experience for the whole family The rooms have a nice size, they are extremely clean, good bathrooms, and good beds. The hotel staff were concerned about my kids, they gave them a basket full... More

An amazing place, beautiful buildings and rooms and incredibly romantic. Cartagena is a great city, well worth a visit, and we would hurry back to stay here again. We were on our babymoon and staff were very good at looking after us. Thoroughly recommend

Very nice hotel with lovely rooms and great environment. Only problem is that some of the service in the restaurant is to slow and also their lack of english created some problems. Prices are on the high end.

What can I say but Casa San Augustin … but the hotel checked off ALL the boxes on my 5 star hotel rating sheet and then some I didn’t know existed ! What a delightful find thanks to my fellow Trip Advisor patrons. First the location… Casa San Augustin is perhaps one of the most centrally located hotels in Caratgena.... More

Stunningly beautiful historic-but-tastefully-modernized interiors, great central location in the old city, and impeccable service. Shout out to Camillo who spent a lot of time personally looking after me during my solo stay, making me feel very welcome, and even walked my suitcase and me to my next hotel several blocks away (I switched hotels only because Casa St Agustin was... My wife and I stayed at the Santa Clara, and Ananda hotels. Each have their own strengths: Santa Clara for the pool and breeze from the sweltering heat and Ananda for its stylish roof-top day beds and alfresco lounge. If you are looking for the all round best hotel, the San Agustin is a step ahead and has the all-round... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and was extremely impressed with both Cartagena as well as this hotel. If your budget can handle this hotel, this is the place to stay: - the front desk staff stand out. I had a couple of issues that needed to be resolved and they went way beyond what was necessary to help me resolve... More

My husband and I stayed here 4 nights in search of some R+R and we were not disappointed. We arrived after a red-eye flight and were grateful that the hotel could accommodate early check in. We stayed in room 212 which overlooked the street, and had a lovely king size bed and sumptuous finishings. We loved the pool in the... More

You should visit Cartagena even if it is only to stay in this lovely hotel (although, of course there are lots of other reasons to visit). We loved our suite with its own rooftop jacuzzi and the rest of the hotel is lovely too-a pretty dining room with some outdoor seating,a small pool surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, a bar,... This is one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I have had - the setting is just so beautiful, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and with a lot of charm, the pool in the lobby sets the tone, and service is just so friendly. Maybe not the most reliable service, but I was willing to see through this in the... More
