My recent stay in this property points to a well-ran hotel. Comfortable accommodations, very helpful front office, bell and executive lounge crews , good internet access … everything worked. However, this hotel seem stuck in the late 80s and early 90s vibe. It does not give an upscale feel. For starters, corridors have a musky smell of a humid and... More

Excellent stay again. Very clean, excellent amenities (pool, restaurant, exercise). In short, everything you need. Location is very nice at the end of the Bocagrande peninsula. It makes for a semi-private beach. The historical center is a 10 minute taxi ride in traffic.

I've stayed here for 20 years, but will never return. There are two new hotels opening soon: the Intercontinental in December 2014, and the Hyatt in 2015. I will choose those or others. On my my recent visit, I arrived after a two day trip from Canada, and was told that I could not have the room I reserved until... More

The rooms have been updated and were nice, but the rest of the hotel is stuck in 1985. Pools are good for children, one was out of commission. Asked them to make reservations- they didn't, there was no turn down service when there was suppose to be. Drinks were on our bill from the room which we did not have.... More

Overall very clean hotel with plenty of amenities. Food was all good, though nothing outstanding. Service was hit or miss at the pool bar, some really friendly staff, and others who, while friendly, were far from attentive or proactive. The pool was great to relax by, particularly the lower pool. You are right by the beach as well, but not... More

The staff is not aware of reservations made online and I was double charged twice. Even though I wrote them a letter and called, they were not able/ willing to help me. There were two pools and one of them was completely out of service during my four day stay. The light fixtures on the non-working pool had the lights/wires... More

Hilton Cartagena, is a home away from home, is a pleasure arrive to a place where despite the fact that has many activities (different conventions or private affairs) going on, you are still number 1 priority to hotel's staff.
