This was a very comfortable hotel in a great part of town, if you like history rather than beaches. Excellent service, but expensive. More facilities than other hotels (gym, pool, business centre, two restaurants, spa) and it is hot walking around, so we liked the services.

It is considered the best hotel in Cartagena but as for Sofitel standards it is dissapointing. Still it is an old beautiful monastery. The main hall and the restaurants are amazing. The swimming pool is not bad. It is quite expensive for what if offers. You can find tucans all over which makes your stay at Santa Clara more tropical.
