I booked my room 2 days before arrival on a popular booking website, so you would think the hotel would know if there was likely to be a problem. I arrived to be told that, due to construction, my room was no longer available, but they had a room for me in another hotel outside of the Old City. However,... More

As almost of you has already told here, this hotel has a very convenient location in the main entrance of the walled city. It is very clean and the employees are lovely and helpful. But breakfast is slow, because the guests depend on the housekeeper to serve them (no buffet service) and the options are only the basics - bread,... More

Great location and staff. If you are like me that just need a good clean and cozy place to stay, this is your hotel. rooms are not big but have all you need with breakfast included. It is inside of the walled city right at one of the entrances which gives you access to cabs, restaurants and every sight you... More

This hotel is in a beautiful old house and has many interesting original features. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though no-one spoke English. We had a comfortable, clean room with a balcony. The hotel is in the clocktower square and is a great place from which to explore the old city but don't come here if you... More

So, like many people I've ended up at Torre De Reloj because I couldn't find another hotel in Cartagena during a major event (New Year's), and this hotel was available. As others have said it's well located, but the rooms are shockingly noisy - so don't stay here if you have issues with sleeping through music, barking dogs, people fighting,... More

The hotel is beautiful with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was quite small but nice. Especially the location is perfect and the famous salsa place Donde Fidel is almost next door :) Just the breakfast could be a bit more varied but since we stayed there just 3 nights it was ok for us.

You really could lose your heart in Cartagena. And this is an excellent little hotel in the centre. In one of the old colonial era houses with small but ample bedrooms, well priced (£60) and a minimal but sufficient breakfast. If you want sophistication and 5* facilities look else where. If you want old time romantics, in the centre of... More

This hotel is a nice hotel in a great location, however there is nothing fancy about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable. My room overlooked Plaza de los Coches and the beautiful clock tower as well as the sea off in the distance. The plaza can be noisy, but it personally didn't bother me... More

This hotel was beautiful and comfortable. The only problem is that is it on a square that is extremely noisy! And, the windows do nothing to stop the noise. It was impossible to sleep with all the noise coming through

Perfectly positioned on one of the main squares. If you have a balcony room there are brilliant views over the square and excellent people watching opportunities. Clean, good breakfast, air conditioned, hot showers and friendly staff. English spoken by some staff. Close to many excellent restaurants and shops. If you need quiet this is NOT the place for you but... More
