The beach is nice and clean, the service is great and the food is the best! Compare with other options to visit Islas del Rosario, this Island is more private and all the hotel commedities like sun beds and umbrellas are in good conditions. The price is standard but the services are really good

We took a trip to Isla del Encanto, consists of pick up at our hotel, 1.5 hr speed boat trip to the island. The staff we very nice, and it was great to get away from the touristy beaches in Cartagena, wear you are bombarded by vendors selling feet massages/hats/braiding/temp tattoos etc. the beach was cleaner as well, and the... I went to Isla del Encanto on a day trip with three other people. We booked the trip through a hotel in Cartagena. We spent about 140,000 pesos per person to go. We chose this location from a wide range of options because it was marketed as a private island where there were few vendors trying to sell you items.... More

We went on a day trip to Isla del Encanto since it was one of the trips recommended by the hotels in the walled city. Overall, we thought the trip was overpriced and later found there were much better options for day trips. Having been to several other beautiful Caribbean beaches, the beach here was disappointing. The water was a... More

Don't go there-- it's a tourist trap! The visit to the island costed +-130.000 and it was not at all what we expected it to be. The water is not caribbean blue as shown in the panflets (not even worth snorkling there), they charge you another 40.000 for taking you to another island to snorkel, 120.000 to scuba-dive, and 20.000... I visited the site for a day trip. The grounds, beach and pool were beautiful. We were given the opportunity to go snorkeling and the water was fantastic. I spent the rest of the time in the hammocks under the hut just swinging in the gorgeous sea breeze.

We went here as a couple and stayed overnight. The day trip is pretty touristy, I personally don't like big group tourist activities, but the snorkeling reef was really great. When everyone leaves you pretty much have the resort to yourself and it becomes a beautiful, peaceful, tranquil oasis. Don't expect 5-star accommodations --- cooking is home-style and the island... We stayed at this resort overnight, arriving at 10 am Monday, departing at 3:30 pm the following day. Isla del Encanto is located on the island of Baru, part of the Isla Rosario area. The trip begins with transportation from our prior hotel to the port of departure near central Cartagena. The resort clearly advertises in their brochure that this... More

For the price that island did not live up to its expectations. Although the staff was incredibly helpful and kind the food was subpar. It's all about expectations. We were led to believe that it was a five star sweet island resort and it has the potential to be. They upgraded our small cabin to a beautiful second floor bungalow... More

This was our 3rd excursion in Cartagena. It was the most expensive by far ($150USD for a couple) and except for the boat ride nothing great. There were not enough cabanas. The service was horrible. The waiter never showed more than once. Too touristy and commercial. You have to pay for even water but the Colombian coffee (cold in the... More
