I was at this hotel for a busines trip, it is a nice hotel, more oriented towards spanish speaking / family stays.. but enjoyable nonetheless. The breakfasts are GREAT. The Lobby is "outside", making you feel really in Colombia.. but it's also quite hot there sometimes..

Had a great time. This is not Colombian high season so the service was amazing, relaxed and everyone had a smile. We had a large group some had newly renovated rooms others not. Still mine was not renovated and was fine. Rooms are large with a view to the pools and ocean. They all have a hammock in block 6-7.... More

I stayed at this Hotel three years ago and the decline is evident. The service is becoming very poor. Employees are unfriendly. They take security to the extreme that we were unable to organise a business meeting because of their "policies". Food was very poor. Very limited choices (very few were Colombian food). The buffet was expensive and of poor... More

Very unfriendly service, as many other reviewers noticed already. Save your money for another place where you are treated better. Stay away!!! They also had a problems with locals as they don't let them walk on their own seaside. No surprise they getting down and down on tripadvisor

20 minutes from the airport and you are already in the hotel. Check in is only at 3 so plan accordingly. You can hit the beach right away if your room is not ready. I had a nice room in the 8th floor with an ocean view. The room was very airy and well lighted , but some few problems-the... More

Casa de Playa at Las Americas has the best beach in Cartagena, a very nice building that is very appropriate for the Caribbean climate, nice restaurants, and in general, helpful and cordial staff. People in Cartagena are generally helpful, cordial, gracious and very pleasant. Most rooms have been redone and they offer beautiful views of the sea from the lovely... More

We were orginally booked at the Casa De Playa and when we saw the room we were very dissapointed. The unit had cracked walls, floor was dirty, bathroom was old, etc. They showed us another unit in Casa De Playa and it was still the same but the room was much cleaner. We asked to move to the newer units... More

We were glad to be in the "Casa" rather than the "Torre" because it had a little more character. The rooms were fine, the restaurants OK: Good breakfast, evening buffet a little repetitive but perfectly adequate. Pleasant beach area. All in all one of the better "business hotels" I've seen recently. The staff were pleasant, and the place was in... More

The hotel is good, with many facilities and a couple of swimming pools; rooms are spacious with a lovely balcony. However it looks old and in need of renovations. It is a short ride from the airport (5-10 min). it is also too big and faceless. I like the beach. It’s big with lots of sun huts, sunbeds for free... More
