Cartagena is one of the hottest cities I have ever been to and you NEED air conditioning in the hottest months. We were there in June and it was beyond belief, so we were very relieved to get a room with two decent ceiling fans and A/C. That was the best bit. The staff are ok, the price was ok... More

This is a very nice budget hotel. Clean had all the basic necessities. Located close to all the attractions so we could walk to most of the attractions. The streets around it are a little tacky but for the price you cannot ask for more The staff was nice and friendly. Wifi is spotty sometimes

Let's start by saying that it was the only available hotel/ hostel/guesthouse in the Getsemani area during New Year period, that offered acceptable conditions ( other few available were per hour type of accommodation). First night we stayed in the room with aircon and private bathroom but no window. The room was clean but tiny just 6 sq m/ 64... More

My friend and I stayed here for 4 days this week. We booked a room with a shared bathroom and were upgraded to a room with 2 double beds and a private bathroom! What a pleasant surprise! The staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations and reserving activities. Everything was kept very clean during the entire stay. The rooms... More

We stayed here one week. Small room, private bathroom with aircon for just 75.000 COP: really good deal. Everyday we found clean sheets on our bed and fresh towels in the bathroom. The hotel is in the middle of Getsemani and just 10 mins walk to the old town. There is no breakfast included, but freshly baked bread, fruit and... More

General impression: clean, good air conditioning and good location (5mins from the center). However, there was no Internet in the rooms, you had to go to the lobby where dozens of mosquitos await and also the walls were really thin so the nights tended to be really loud. Since it was pretty cheap though, I guess you need to accept... More

I was confused by the split reviews on this hotel, but after 1 night here I understand. If you're looking for a romantic luxury old-world hotel, as is now common all over old Cartagena, then this is not the place. If you're looking for a really good value, security, cleanliness, and a fairly quiet night's sleep then this is your... More

Excellent value for money, good location - walking distance to clock tower. Nice staff! Would recommend. Good wifi! Did not try breakfast but heard its good. One of the cheapest around this area for what you get - enjoy.

This a friendly hotel in a great location. We had a large room upstairs which was bright and airy with TV and wifi. There was a lot of noise coming from the community hall next door all weekend but I don't think this is a normal occurrence - in fact, one of the rock bands playing was really quite good... More
