Wauw! I got sick on the boat sailing from Panama to Cartagena. At night 02.00 it even got worse. Even at that time the staff was really helpful and payed for my taxi to the hotel. Translated over the phone my symptoms to the doctor. And i was back within the hour. I stayed for 4 more more days.

Stayed here for 5 nights, excellent hotel in a great location and within walking distance of the major sites. Staff very helpful and a good choice of food for breakfast. Would definitely stay in this hotel again if visiting Cartagena.

I used to live in Barranquilla and visited Cartagena 8+ times with visitors in 2010, and every time stayed at this hotel. I brought a range of people: my parents, friends who had never been to South America before, seasoned adventurers, etc. Every single person felt this was the best deal you can get in the walled city - price... It's a lovely, charming place well located in the old town. Very friendly staff speaking English. Cute little pool (we travelled off season so it was completely empty - it might be too small when the hotel is full!) and a great rooftop tarrace for a few drinks in the evening. Breakfasts were great - not just eggs but there... More

This hotel is situated in the heart of the walled historic centre. Very pleasant English speaking receptionists. Room was comfortable with good air conditioning and a decent shower. Small electronic room safe which was OK for cash, mobile phones etc, but no good if you had a laptop. Good WiFi signal throughout. Breakfast was adequate, but wasn't the best. Would... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute. The king sized bed, the fresh cool pool, the friendly helpful staff and the lovely big breakfasts. The hotel opens straight onto cobblestone streets pumping with activity, street food stalls, excellent restaurants and shops. Walking distance to everywhere!!!

The location is good being only 2 blocks from the clock tower at the south side the walled city ("Ciudad Amurallada"). The staff was attentive. The breakfast was good but not great. The hotel is nicely decorated and maintained. Our biggest issue would probably be "service" fees that they added to our bill upon check out. We prefer to tip... More

We stayed in this hotel with my friend for three nights. The location and the atmosphere of the hotel is great. However, our room was very dark and the bathroom was so small that you could hardly turn around. Breakfast was very disappointing: apart from the fresh juices (which is one of the easiest things to provide in Colombia!) everything... More

Compared to most hotels on Cartagena old city, this one is reasonable priced. Close to most city attractions: Clock Tower, Garcia Marquez home, Cathedral, and other colonial monuments. Friendly staff. Feels safe. Clean. Good breakfast. Wifi a bit slow. Breakfast area on the 5th floor with nice city view.

Cartagena Old City hotels generally charge more for what you get, this is no exception. The location is great and it has free wifi, a small splash pool in the courtyard, and reasonable breakfast on the rooftop terrace with lovely views. The rooms are just OK. Rooms on the ground floor may not even have windows so be sure to... More
