After seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor, I by no means thought I was going into a great hotel, but I did expect some things, like that there wouldn't be mystery stains all over the blankets, the toilet wouldn't require 3 flushes, the staff would give recommendations beyond their crappy in-house restaurant, and probably, most of all, that I wouldn't... this hotel needs profesional manangment, we checked into a musty, foul-smelling room, the TV was 1980's vintage and the A/C unit dripped water on the bed. some of the staff was great, others indifferent.. the included breakfast was not worth the trip to the patio. Nice decor in the room, large bathroom but no hotwater.. not worth the 90 dollars... More

Excellent stay! Great staff, incredibly good value for your money. Just don't eat the eggs for breakfast, lots of shells! The restaurant was great with an interesting variety, and the room service was super speedy!

Was my first time in this Hotel. It was a pleasant experience. I stayed for 4 nights. The Hotel has a mixed between antique and new arquitecture. The service is excellent, and people are extraordinary. Is 5 minutes from the beach (walking), and 10 minutes from the beautiful downtown (by taxi). The taxi costs 6000 pesos at morning and 7000... I checked in here today. The staff is really nice, one guy even loaned me $1000 pesos when I didn't have change to pay the taxi driver. The location is not good for this place. It is in a strange location, but I didn't really explore much around the hood, to get to the old city it was 7000 pesos.... More

Friendly efficient staff, clean room and delicious breakfast buffet!! Also the top roof terrasse is a very little cozy spot where to relaxant sunset time and read a book on the hammock. The only down side to me is the area...I wasn't feeling so comfortable walking on my own in the evenings and had to take a cab; but I... More

We chose San Pietro for the location in Bocagrande and the hot tubs. The location is a bit strange. The hot tubs are not hot, meaning that they are jacuzzis but with no heat! The jets are also way beyond weak, they are barely functional! So basically you are getting into a cold tub with very little motion. They are... More

I read the reviews and booked San Pietro Hotel for my couples' trip to Colombia, figuring that the grumpy reviews re: the beds etc. were overblown. I wish that I'd really paid attention to them. Here's the honest lowdown - it's long winded but complete. Two employees can speak English that I'm aware of - one speaks it well, one... More

We stayed here based on the solid reviews on trip advisor, and checked out early. The hotel stunk like cigarettes, and much of the furniture was broken. We payed for the suite, and it was exceptionally noisy. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. The only saving grace is that the staff were great, and the breakfasts delicious, with local ingredients and... More

I spent almost a week in Hotel San Pietro. I have chosen that place considering of the numerous positive reviews on TripAdviser. Yes, unquestionably the staff is marvelous, smiling, remembering guests as soon as they have registered and they are ready to assist in all possible manners. Eating breakfast in the patio is something special. My room was spacious, the... More
