Chic meets class meets charm. We are a couple in our late twenties and we couldn't have been happier with this decision. Location: Getsemani (and this hotel) is a 5 minute walk from the walled city (Centro). I can't stress the safety. Don't let the graffiti scare you; we never felt uneasy during the stay. A lot of great restaurants... More

My wife and I spent 5 nights here during our stay in Cartagena, and loved this place! The staff was so friendly, and super helpful in assisting us with organizing our time and activities during our trip. I can't say enough good things about them, they were amazing. The front desk staff all spoke English as well, which was very... More

Cool hotel in the middle of a cool neighborhood in Cartagena. I was staying about 10 minutes away in Boca Grande??? In an airbnb apartment which was totally cool, but after seeing this neighborhood during the day and hearing about it, I wanted to stay there for a few days. I heard about it in some newspaper, don't remember which.... More

From the moment we walked in to this place, we were absolutely blown away. Reconfigured inside an old colonial building in Cartagena's Getsemani district, it's really like nothing else I've ever stayed in. Complete with a water feature that runs from one end of the building to the other, the constant sound of water creates a peace and tranquility that... More

We love Cartagena! Casa Lola is a wonderful idea in theory but I think we just had a few bits of poor luck this visit. Started our romantic first real child free holiday at an older hotel (lower rating but fantastic) & "upgraded" to Casa Lola for our 10 year anniversary... bummed we did. 1. Location- We were driving into... More

We booked casa Lola for 3 nights when we travelled through Cartagena... On arrival to the hotel we were told that we could have our room as a pipe in the room had burst... It was late at night on a Thursday night and it was film festival week in march so every other nice place was booked.. We were... More

The location is excellent for a young couple. within walking distance to the plaza, stores and bars, cheap restaurant and expensive one's too. the taxi fare to any where inside the walled city and boca chica is only 6k ( 2.7 USD ). The hotel itself is beautiful, excellent decoration with outstanding rooftop polo and "chillout" areas. now the bad,... More

thank you for your comments, Let us give you a really big apologize, the city was remaking pipes and we had some problems like our neighbours. Came with three girlfriends and we shared the suite. From the first moment we set foot in the door the staff was attentive and inviting. Our 20 minute intro included a thorough introduction to the City and Getsemani and for our entire 5 days the staff could not have been more helpful. They booked excursions, transport and made restaurant recommendations,... More

- staff is very friendly - interesting design - small rooms with very small showers - terrible wifi in rooms - nice and comfortable breakfast area - very calm and relaxing pool at the roof - very close to the most popular bars - very basic ammenities - needs to improve boutique service

The hotel is small and charming with an eye for the details. I very much liked its style and atmosphere. It is very green and calm. Service was good, but then again we didn't use anything except then check-in, check-out and breakfast. Rooms were very quiet and the AC was not loud at all (as other reviewers suggested). One must...
