I went to Cartagena for a few days, and a friend pointed me to Casa Sweety. This is a great place to stay, It is a clean and quiet place. their staff is friendly and respectful. I'll stay there again next time I go back to Cartagena

The hotel rooms are dungeon like except for the couple on the first floor. Do not stay in the rooms upstairs. They have no windows, they have a musty smell. There's filthy carpet upstairs in each room. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. You have to walk up this staircase that is about to collapse to get to the rooms upstairs.... More

The ladies that run the place really are sweeties, the manager was very helpful with any requests, booking tours etc and speaks very good English. The rooms by the pool are the nicest but if you're on a budget, the cheaper, upstairs rooms are clean and spacious too (the downside is that they lack natural light, but the staff warn... More

Casa Sweety was fine. We had a big room facing the pool, which was pretty quiet. The pool is tiny, and did not seem too clean so we didn't use it. The breakfast was good - fruit, eggs, coffee and juice. There is one really friendly and helpful receptionist - she spoke good English, and was able to give us... More

Other than than the location this B&B wasn't anything special. The location is very good, just off of Media Luna and surrounded by places to eat and drink. Only a 5 min walk to the walled area and about 5-20 walk from the fortress. Our room was right in the lobby area next to the pool table (awkward location), the... More

We stayed in the "standard room", which is located upstairs facing the street. The window is merely a port hole the size of a large pizza. The room was hot and sweaty. It does have AC but has no natural light and all the ambience of a cave. I understand this is the old town and they have to make... More

We spent 2 nights in the main suite at Casa Sweety. The room is huge, simple but stylishly decorated with a great bed and french doors opening out to the pool. Big and clean bathroom, the shower is large, although no hot water (not really a problem in Cartagena). The pool was great to have a cool and relaxing dip.... More

The hotel is in a great location walking distance to the walled city. The lobby can get a bit stuffy but they do put fans out. The breakfast is simple but tasty especially the fruit. The staff is nice but has limited information on the area. The rooms are large and the air conditioning works great, the bathrooms are simple... More

I was in Casa Sweety twice, that is how much I like the place. Very comfortable colonial style place. With a nice pool in the middle of a gallery, a sunny terrace and located in the middle of Getsemani district. It remind me of an apart hotel. Very nice rooms, killer breakfast, courtesy of the hotel, and the best costumer... More

We wanted to stay in a hostel that we've found in the Lonely Planet, but stay here in stead. This hotel was a cheaper option! Very nice place, clean, small pool to cool down, very friendly and helpfull people, good breakfast and nice beds. Free wifi and a pool table. Perfect location in Getsemani, 10 minutes walk from the old... More
