After reading the reviews on here, I had no doubt I was going to like this place. I wasn't let down!! I was traveling with a group of 4 friends and it was the perfect spot for us. LOCATION: In the walled city of Cartagena in the perfect location. It's a respite right in the middle of everything: 1 block... More

Loved Tres Banderas! The staff was absolutely superb! The rooms were good. Location could not have been any better! I only wished it had a pool and an elevator, then it would have been PERFECT!

First of all, thanks to those travelers that inspired me to stay in this place. It couldn't had been better. I had a room on the ground floor with a queen bed, stone wall which gave the room a lot of character. And, I love the bathroom, yellow and blue tiles. The whole room was very nice and clean and... We stayed at Hotel 3 Banderas for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although the rooms themselves aren't spectacular, the hotel is charming, safe, and is a great value for the price. The entrance is locked at night and for parts of the day, and there is always someone on staff at the front desk, so the building is secure.... More

Cartagena is filled with beautiful boutique hotels, luxurious international spots, and a range of filthy backpacker locations. 3 Banderas fills an important niche in between these three. It is clean with good service, affordable - about $80 per night with tax, and in an incredibly beautiful location. When we were researching hotels in Cartagena we contemplated some of the places... Tres Banderas is an excellent choice in the centre of Cartagena. We chose a room with a balcony on the 2nd floor and I would definitely recommend that. Rooms were of good size with fridge, air conditioning and hot water. Breakfast was fruit, selection of breads, coffee and juices and if you got up early a potato cake!!! The best... More

The staff were all friendly and super helpful! I had a little personal problem there, one of the front desk girls helped me with it and I felt so relieved after. The climate is very humid and hot like over 30 degrees everyday. I had a very comfortable stay since the AC in my room worked very good. I was... More

Tres Banderas was able to accomodate me very late and at the last minute, which I very much appreciated. They also helped arrange a bus the next morning to Cartagena and were very forgiving when I forgot to return the key and later had to cancel another reserveration only hours before I was due to check-in. In short, the staff... More

A relaxing oasis in the walls of the old city in Cartagena. You do not want to stay anywhere else...for that matter once here you will not want to leave! Delightful setting with 2 internal terrace areas featuring sand stone walls, tropical plants, water feature, art work and comfortable cane furniture. Tres Banderas is located in the same street as...
