This boutique hotel is located within the walled city of Cartagena. It is towards the top end of the price range. The reception area is very impressive as was the junior suite that I booked with a balcony that overlooks the street (not a nice view). However the service in reception wasn't the best as when I arrived at 6... More

My room was always clean, and the wifi always more than adequate (I uploaded pictures and google mapped my daily plan every morning). Breakfast was always some fruit, bread/pastry and coffee which was sufficient. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, AC worked almost too well (I had to turn it off at night). Excellent location, 5 minute walk to... More

Let's get the cons out of the way: it's a smidge older, there's no way to really lounge by the pool or tan, we had an annoying interaction with one staff member. But it's a clean, really pretty, centrally-located hotel for a great price, with sweet staff (we still have warm and fuzzy feelings about Simon, who's probably the kindest... More

YGWYP (you get what you pay). We stayed at this hotel on our way back from Islas del Rosario because we need a place to crash for a few hours before our 6am flight. This is a cheap, centrally located hotel with basic services. I would recommend it for anyone that is just looking for a decent place to spend... More

I spent a week here in late April. This is a small mid-level inn in the old town, set around a small courtyard, with very different types of rooms (I had probably the smallest and cheapest, with one window opening onto the interior hall and courtyard, but saw much bigger ones with balconies overlooking the road). There are things I... More

It's an outstanding place, where you will be warmly welcomed and where you will feel so well. The rooms are spacious. We had a very big bed of very good quality. The bathroom had a good shower (not always the case in Colombia). We felt extremely comfortable here. The whole hotel is gorgeous, with a wonderful patio and a pull... More

I stayed at this hotel 3 nights during January and found it to be quite great. I've had a late night check in due to my flight arriving later than scheduled, and the night porter was courteous and helpful (we spoke in Spanish so not sure if he speaks English). The receptionists I met throughout my stay were also very... More

Location is fantastic, the hotel is beautiful and a great value, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Simon makes wonderful breakfasts and will take good care of you, and Cindy was fantastic in helping us navigate the city and making sure we got good prices on taxis and such. We loved our stay!

We stayed here on our first time here to Cartagena and fell in love with the boutique hotel (3 yrs ago) Love the style of the decoration which made us feel like we were staying in someone's home rather than in a hotel. We returned again this year and the friendly staff actually remembered us. The only negative I would... More
