Repairs largely over, an excellent modern hotel that is upscale by western standards. room excellent with walk in shower, siting area, and revolving TV that can be watched from the bathtub (unique).. Breakfast buffet excellent and close by the Wanda shopping center (1/4 mile walk) which is ultramodern in the true western style..every international store present and decor is very... More

The hotel itself is very clean and maintained to a high standard, however, there are large building sites both sides of the hotel. On one night we had a JCB working outside our window between 3 and 6 in the morning!!!!! There's not much going on in the surrounding area, but you will find conveniences stores directly opposite the (very... More

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The staff is friendly with limited knowledge of English language. But after several tries, you'll get what you need. At the reception they only have one type of credit card terminal / the one that is incompatible with my card. So far in all other hotels they have at least 2 or 3... More

Whilst we were visiting the Hotel was being renovated so some parts (restaurant, cafe etc) were closed and breakfast was served in their function room. The rooms were very spacious and extremely comfortable. Service was exceptional. We'd phone to have dry cleaning collected and they were knocking at the door within minutes. Newspapers were left at our door each morning.... More

The staff were very professional and went out of their way to help. The room was pretty good, the bathroom was awesome. The restaurant was not the best only because it was more Chinese food and not much for Westerners. The outside was scary!!!! It appeared people liked to hang out near the street corner. There was a very nice... More

My husband and I always stayed at Sofitel when we came to Chengdu, but this time due to the resason that they are fully booked, we had to choose Tibet Hotel for our X'mas holiday, however it was a very bad choice for us (mainly my bad), the hotel is underconstraction, full of dusty, especially in this dry Winter. Restaurant... More

This is a nice hotel with a great location however it is older and much of it is under construction and closed. If you plan on using restaurants, bars and shops inside the hotel then don't stay here. They are all closed and assumed to be under construction/renovation The hotel is older but clean and nice. The breakfast buffet has... More

We spent 3 nights at this hotel as part of a China tour. The reception area is very grand and very nicely furnished. Our room was enormous, we could have held a dance in it. We had 2 3/4 beds which were so comfy and the duvets and bedding was all top quality. We had a sofa and a table... More

Stayed as part of a tour. The best bit about the rooms without a doubt is the bathroom, its huge. It was lovely to be able to sit at a mirror to do my hair and makeup. The room is spacious, the décor is a little old fashioned but it was clean which is most important. The public areas are... More

We stayed here the night before and the night after our Panda experience. Firstly, if you are planning on staying here, or anywhere for that matter in China, make sure you have the name of the hotel printed in Chinese (to avoid unnecessary taxi costs). Me and my boyfriend arrived with rucksacks. The staff came out and helped us with... More
