This was a convenient location. Great place to meet people. The staff are friendly and helpful and most speak good English. The food and drink service is a little poor, every time I had to wait at least forty five minutes for my drink I ordered. Nice seat in area. Rooms are nice and comfortable with good curtains in the... More

We stayed at Lazybones for quite a few weeks while we were in Chengdu. The hostel is in a convenient location - right across the street from the metro line 1. The food at the hostel is good, and at a fair price. My boyfriend is in love with the French toast set. Many travelers always at the hostel. Receptionists... More

We spent 5 nights at the Lazy bones and thought it was a great hostel to stay in. For a hostel, they change the towels each day and clean the room. On our first night, we arrived after midnight but this was fine with them, at check in, we were given a map of the city along with a voucher... More

We needed some where we could stay put over "Golden Week", a week long national holiday in China, and Chengdu and the Lazybones Hostel were both great choices. Lazybones had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in a deluxe twin room as we wanted a bit more space. The room was large with a big window looking... More

The staff was very helpful for tickets wherever..usually always an English speaker available. Food there was good..Western options. My room on the 2nd floor had a scary mold and water stain problem..I moved out but was still able to use their restaurant. Also room was smelly.

Lazy Bones has all you'll come to expect of a youth hotel. It's a little rough around the edges but things work for the most part. The 24-hours hot showers were a joy. There're two washers but no dryers so laundry needs to be dried on the roof. The location is perfect - the hostel is a 2-minute walk from... More

We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service! They offer numerous tours that are very affordable and range from panda visits to Tibetan treks. Really handy location for checking out Chengdu! I can't recommend it enough! The rooms are basic but clean and are all you need.

A rather cosy and comfortable stay in December 2013. Staff at the hostel speak some English so it shouldn't be too difficult in communicating basics. Otherwise, mandarin would definitely be preferred when communicating with the staff. They are mostly young and friendly, also knowledgeable about the area with some tips on getting to places. This hostel is well-located for those... More

Clean comfortable rooms with individual bathrooms for each dorm room so they're much cleaner and more accessible. Really nice decor and the best part is the common area which is laid out to enable privacy or socialising as you wish. Lots of activities are available for free; wi-fi, pool table, ping pong, films, cards, chess, mahjiang etc. Staff are really... More
