There were some annoyances with mildew on the wall, Y1 for only 10-minute use of a public computer (very slow) and a little bit noisy hairdryer, but after staying there for 3 days I would say it's one of my best hosteling experiences in China. Probably not a place for super-picky customers, though. Staff spoke excellent and fluent English and... More

Their services are absolutely great! People in Chengdu are hardly to communicate in English and the staff in Lazybones helped us a lot. They are very patient in answering questions and greeted us warmly. The place is very comfortable and I would say, I will come again for my next trip. Cheers!

I expected to enjoy my stay after staying at Flipflop hostel a number of times. And I surely did :) I stayed in the 3-bed family room with my friends and we loved how it was so spacious and yet cozy. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and in perfect working order. My friends and I had a... More

Friendly staff, good value panda tour, English speaking staff super helpful, rooms are nice with electric blankets in winter! Showers have hot water, rooms cleaned every day and new towels! Food in the cafe/bar is nice and the cooking class with Kaye was so tasty. Location is near restaurants and little stalls and opposite the metro as well as walking... More

Stayed here with my partner. We have a lovely time here. The room was clean and comfortable, but on the small side. The shower was hot and powerful. But the best thing must be the staff that made my stay. Especially kay, he offered us so much help in planning our days and suggesting places to eat. Also he makes... More

This was a convenient location. Great place to meet people. The staff are friendly and helpful and most speak good English. The food and drink service is a little poor, every time I had to wait at least forty five minutes for my drink I ordered. Nice seat in area. Rooms are nice and comfortable with good curtains in the... More

We stayed at Lazybones for quite a few weeks while we were in Chengdu. The hostel is in a convenient location - right across the street from the metro line 1. The food at the hostel is good, and at a fair price. My boyfriend is in love with the French toast set. Many travelers always at the hostel. Receptionists... More

We spent 5 nights at the Lazy bones and thought it was a great hostel to stay in. For a hostel, they change the towels each day and clean the room. On our first night, we arrived after midnight but this was fine with them, at check in, we were given a map of the city along with a voucher... More

We needed some where we could stay put over "Golden Week", a week long national holiday in China, and Chengdu and the Lazybones Hostel were both great choices. Lazybones had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in a deluxe twin room as we wanted a bit more space. The room was large with a big window looking... More
