We stayed in a 4-bed dormitory for a couple of nights. The room, located on the ground floor, was a bit damp but away from the noise of the Common area. It had a curtain around each bed and a readind lamp, which was really nice. We had a good breakfast at the restaurant next to the hostel, which was... More

We stayed here for a week and with the yha card it cheap (if you don't have one get one at reception) It's a really funky place to stay. The staff are very helpful also. They do a free meal once a week which is a good way to meet people. The place is clean Enjoy

We stayed here for 5 nights in a double room. The building itself is interesting, believe it was a brickworks before. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There is a sofa area downstairs with a DVD library and an area to watch films, a courtyard garden outside to sit in with a free pool table and a cafe area that... More

Fantastic hostel !!! Staff were all excellent. Room was modern, clean, big, airy and bright. Common areas help create a real hostel atmosphere. Excellent value for money, even had one local beer or Coke included in the price. Area around the hostel is gentrifying with plenty of bars and restaurants mixed in with a few old local places. Would recommend.

I can confirm that the previous reviews were correct and I don't have more to add. It's a Hostelling International hostel so bring your card and save some yuans. We paid 180 instead of 220. The Internet conecions in the 5th floor was not good.

Stayed in the dorms for two nights. Great sleep, comfy beds and very clean. Wifi in all rooms Great location near the market streets and walkable to the Square and Mao statue I went on their Sichean Opera tour one night and it was wonderful. They drove us there and back which I was thankful for as its in the... More

I absolutely ADORE the Loft. I have never stayed in the dorms, but the rooms are amazing. They are slightly overpriced, but if you've been thrifty and budgeting, I'd say it's worth it to stay here a night or two to recharge. The beds are amazing. In China, most beds are very hard, and I personally never got used to... More

The place is nice, in a quiet street of chengdu. Dorms (4-6 beds) are very cleaned, with AC (in Chengdu it can be very hot); toilette are cleaned every hour. Staff is english speaking and really helpfull. When I had to go back in Chengdu on my way back home, I had no doubt about where to go: The Loft!... More

I stayed at The Loft for one night recently and had a great stay. The hostel is very unique...I have never stayed in a place quite like it before. It is located on a quiet side street in Chengdu. The hostel had very friendly staff who were very helpful in answering questions about the area. I had 2 meals at... More

Very trendy and interesting hostel with retro fittings and a very good courtyard space. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and so forth. Bathrooms awkwardly away from downstairs rooms requiring a quick semi-naked dash through the communal chill out area. No signs reminding loud Chinese to keep quiet/out of areas near the bedrooms at night. Thought coffee was very... More
