We spent 2 nights in double room with bath. Room was acceptable. Clean and as you would expect for the price. Staff very helpful with good English skills. They helped book early morning taxi to airport, Sichuan Opera tickets, hotpot recommendation. The attached restaurant was good for snacks and drinks. Everyone was very friendly!

Appreciate a well-heated room in chilly February. Fairly basic bathroom and bedroom facilities (towels not new or fluffy if that's important to you) but overall decently put together. Street has a lot of places to go in the evening. Not too noisy late at night though. Good tasty breakfast choices and proper Italian espresso (not to be sniffed at in... More

We paid good money for a cheap hostel because we thought it would be a warm and charming experience as opposed to staying in a cheaper but better business hotel. Regretfully, it was a terrible experience. Extremely basic with tatty towels, bedding, blinds, etc. Service was bad. I don't know what happened to the staff that the reviews praised about...the... We stayed in a 4-bed dormitory for a couple of nights. The room, located on the ground floor, was a bit damp but away from the noise of the Common area. It had a curtain around each bed and a readind lamp, which was really nice. We had a good breakfast at the restaurant next to the hostel, which was... More

We stayed here for a week and with the yha card it cheap (if you don't have one get one at reception) It's a really funky place to stay. The staff are very helpful also. They do a free meal once a week which is a good way to meet people. The place is clean Enjoy

We stayed here for 5 nights in a double room. The building itself is interesting, believe it was a brickworks before. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There is a sofa area downstairs with a DVD library and an area to watch films, a courtyard garden outside to sit in with a free pool table and a cafe area that... More

Fantastic hostel !!! Staff were all excellent. Room was modern, clean, big, airy and bright. Common areas help create a real hostel atmosphere. Excellent value for money, even had one local beer or Coke included in the price. Area around the hostel is gentrifying with plenty of bars and restaurants mixed in with a few old local places. Would recommend.

I can confirm that the previous reviews were correct and I don't have more to add. It's a Hostelling International hostel so bring your card and save some yuans. We paid 180 instead of 220. The Internet conecions in the 5th floor was not good.

Stayed in the dorms for two nights. Great sleep, comfy beds and very clean. Wifi in all rooms Great location near the market streets and walkable to the Square and Mao statue I went on their Sichean Opera tour one night and it was wonderful. They drove us there and back which I was thankful for as its in the... More

I absolutely ADORE the Loft. I have never stayed in the dorms, but the rooms are amazing. They are slightly overpriced, but if you've been thrifty and budgeting, I'd say it's worth it to stay here a night or two to recharge. The beds are amazing. In China, most beds are very hard, and I personally never got used to... More
