We stayed at Wenjun Mansion as the reviews were great. We got a family deluxe room which had enough bed for all 4 of us (unusual in China). Located on a touristy street very close to the opera, Renmin Park, metro station. Staff was very helpful and convinced us not to book tours but to go explore on our own.... More

We where in the Wenjun hotel for 2 nights. Very good located to discover the city. The staff speaks English, what a luxury. Nice rooms, good bed. Very charming building in old chinese style. The only little minus is the streetnoice, but that's chengdu '-)

Our trip in Chengdu was so special because from this city we went to Wolong Reserve to see the Pandas in their natural enviroment. We spent 3 nights at Wenjun Mansion and we were amazed of this place. The staff was friendly and helpful, they gave us many tips to get Wolong. Rooms are lovely, location very convenient. Highly recommend!

good location at Qintai Road. The new MRT line 2 Tonghuimen Station is just 5 minutes away. stay at both Chinese style room and western style room during my stay at Wenjun Mansion and prefer the Chinese style room. the staff is knowledgeable and can speak well in english.
