This hotel has any price range that you are looking for. I went for the budget room. There was some mold in certain common areas, the wallpaper was peeling, and there was no minibar to speak of, besides a single beer and a can of coke. The nearest mini-mart is a walk of about 700 meters. That being said, the... More

We went to Qingdao in China's National holiday. We didn't book a room before we arrived the city. Almost all the hotels were full. Finally we found this hotel at Booking.com. The location is good. But the room is in average condition. The breakfast was not included in the price. The price was very high for the room.

We stayed with a couple of friends at the Haiqing hotel for the International Beer Festival, and we had mixed feelings about this hotel. Its location is good, sort of half way between the touristic areas and the location of the beer festival. However, what was disappointing for us was the cleanliness of the rooms. the first room we checked... More

I was staying there for a short trip to Qingdao, my friend helped me to booked Haiqing. apparently the hotel is famous about the sea view. After we got the room, indeed, the sea view was stunning. Although most of the time, i am not staying in the hotel. I still very much enjoyed the view every morning. As most... More

I LIKED: big lobbies with bars, various restaurants (Korean, Italian run by an Italian), big swimming pool, fitness, wi-fi in the lobby, within walking distance of the Olympic area (shopping malls, restaurants) and the promenade along the sea. Comfortable rooms with very good beds, window in the bathroom with a view on the room (with shutters if you need privacy).... More

Stayed 2 nights in Block A. Room was spacious and clean. Mine was a smoking room, but there were no traces of smoke. Nice. Liked the long writing desk, the bright lights to do serious reading, and the free internet. Note that no wifi in the room. So got to use the cable. Wifi is free and available at the reception... I had a meeting here for a few days and was given a suite! Check in was a bit protracted as it was part of a group booking so a bit slow. Check out on the other hand was very quick and efficient. Hotel set back from the beach separated by a busy road and blocks of flats. Hotel consists... More

Notice that this hotel had different blocks. The latest one is the best one and should rank as 4 four stars hotel. I got a room which is somehow located in an apartment building. If I did not remember it wrong it belongs to block C. The room is small and old. You can hear people passing your doors clearly.... More

I had one of the apartment rooms for aound GBP40 a night and the room and facilitites were very good. Hotel is good, restaurants looked nice but didn't use and the fitness facilities are absolutely fantastic at this price. One thing I would say is if you like a good atmospheric hotel bar then this is not the place, the... More

I selected a promo room off the net for rmb400 and expected something reasonable. In China a promo rate at this price is usually 4-star. The room in Block B I was given was horrific- tiny, little single bed, dirty, no light- like the kind of room you want to top yourself in. Rmb 400? Surely some kind of joke? I... More
