The hotel has recently been rebranded to the Copthorne Hotel, although there are still many traces of the old Equatorial brand, making the change look a little half hearted. I do recommend this hotel if you have buisness or travels in the Qingdao area. It's about 35 minutes drive from the airport. They have a shuttle bus that runs a limited schedule, but they will arrange for a car and driver to meet you at the airport. The staff spoke English and I have no complaints about the service.... more
