This is rated as a 5 star hotel. Apparently the Chinese have a different rating system, because, based on my experience, it's nowhere close. That being said, it is quite nice, clean, and service is excellent. Rooms are average when compared to the average hotel in the U.S. and the beds (seems to be a Chinese thing) are very firm.... More

Stayed in this hotel because I was in Qingdao to watch a concert which was held in Qingdao Grand Theatre, which is just next door. In fact, technically, this hotel seems to be part of the theatre building. So I suspect that the hotel wing had been converted from part of the theatre itself. Size of the room is relatively... new,clean and comfy,very quiet,free internet ,breakfast is not exciting but still quite good. room is kinda small though.there're some cafes and restaurants around ,and 1 grocery store.kinda far away from downtown.
