Room: Double beds were so small, felt like twin. The mattress were uncomfortable and the carpet was stained. Toilet of course Nikko style, the best! Pool: They require swimming cap which you have to purchase from them for 60RMB. So bring your swimming cap when in China, FYI all hotels ask for swimming cap. Staff: Kind of rude, barely spoke... We stayed in two rooms for two nights in early June. The rooms are spacious and very clean, though the hotel is not as modern as newer ones. The staff speak good English and the service is good. There are nice views outside every room. The breakfast buffet is very good for the price, with an extensive range of western,... More

Quite a good hotel, clean and up to date rooms. Good staff. A very deserted German Beer Bar on the first floor with no German Beer. Very slow elevators. All in all a good choice for a short stay. Central location.

I do love Nikko hotels for there modern style, perfect bath rooms and clean appearance, so I did book this place in Dalian based on a special rate of 511RMB + 15% surcharge with king size bed When I arrived, I wondered about an old big hotel which obviously has seen its best time, may be 15years or older. Nothing... More

The hotel infrastructure is excellent. The normal room average price is 110 U$D. The exchange rate in the hotel is not so different from the airport. The room is well organized and the furniture is new. The room is clean enough. The TV package is OK, there aren't many English speaking channels (HBO is available). The hotel crew is polite... More

Unreal stay! Certainly joined their membership after staying here enough times for them to remember me by name and face. Such a nice escape from the small town life every now and then. I live in Jinshitan and like I said, nice to get out of small town life now and then. The location is prime! You have LAAN Coffee... More

Looking for a luxurious place to stay in downtown Dalian? This hotel was once a Hilton and now it can be yours for about $100 CDA. That will get you a big room on a top floor with breakfast included, as well as the pool, spa, hot tub, et cetera. Great location, close to the train station, the chingway, Cafe... More

This is simply an outstanding hotel with a wonderful spread for breakfast. The room is clean and the amenities is second to none. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Staff at front desk are very professional and the service level is very high indeed. There are a lot of restaurants nearby the hotel, so one... More

Whenever I travel on business, I opt to stay at a Japanese-run hotel (meaning with a Japanese GM at the hotel leadership helm). Nikko always try to go the extra mile to please Japanese guests (which can be difficult to please) and to delight international travellers. This property is one of a handful of hotels in Dalian that really stands... More

A fabulous hotel in Northern China with incredibly friendly staff. Its no surprise this hotel is Japanese, everything works perfectly and the standards are very high. The location is great, right in the centre of Dalian, which is not too large a city. Breakfast was far better than the majority of hotels I have stayed in during my five years... More
