Room was missing many of the basics like second face towel, drinking cups, hangers, coffee (for brewer), and packaged coffee creamer. Room also had a "stink bug" infestation. We saw approximately a dozen of the bugs around the room. Seems that the rooms are an afterthought. I guess they make their money from the bar and restaurant down stairs.

Was shopping in area with family. Stopped in with family for lunch. Clean and good menu choices. I had a black bean soup that was very tasty. Mainly ordered just appetizers, wings were good. Nachos were just so-so. Daughter had steamers which were ok, but hard to screw up steamers. Wait staff was a little disinterested but no major complaints.... More

Quaint little town, quaint little Inn! No rush, no fuss, pure relaxation. Reminds me of the late 1800's (perhaps like Mackinaw Island without the fudgies). Inn Keeper/Bar Keeper/ Waiter (all one person) was automatic-like family. Attached restaurant had wonderful home cooked food. Loved the cream of tomato soup and Turkey Ruebens. This is a real gem!!!!!!!!!!!! Three floors. No elevators.... More

We enjoyed our stay at this inn. The room was lovely with a built in counter space including a desk area, sink, microwave and cabinets. There should have been a refrigerator under the counter, but for some reason it was missing. We were only staying overnight so we did not ask about it. However it would have been nice to... More

I stayed at the Andover Inn over this past weekend. When one comes off the road from traveling you never quite know what to expect until you get to your location. I came in from Connecticut and absolutely loved the charm, the crown molding, the added touches of what a true inn would be....not to mention the staff, bar and... More

This place is well appointed and is very friendly. The rooms are immaculate and the beds are very comfortable. They have a microwave, mini fridge and morning coffee. The a/c unit is in the window and can be disruptive but it does cool the room down.As far as sleep quality goes it would have been better if the room was away from the... My husband and I stayed at the Andover Inn last week as vendors at The Garden State Horse Show. Our group had a total of 4 rooms for the weekend, and when we decided to be a vendor, Elmer and Jimmy (the owner) were very accomodating to extend our stay to 5 nights. And they are pet friendly. The Inn... More

I booked a room at the inn for 2 nights while attending the Garden State Horse Show. All of the "regular" hotels were booked for the show, so there were not many choices left. I found the Andover Inn on google...seemed relatively close to the showgrouds and the rates were reasonable, so I figured I would give it a try.... More

I'm writing a rare review because I've never experienced a vacant hotel which couldn't be bothered to take my reservation. I called a total of 6 times over the course of 2 weeks and each time was told that they couldn't take the reservation now and pretended to take my information for someone to call me back as soon as... the andover inn is a sweet spot, with a very good restaurant attached and many good antique shops within steps of the hotel my room was quite spacious, the king bed very comfortable; the room was clean and ready for an early check in - fantastic! but... avoid rooms in the front of the inn or bring super ear plugs;...
