Probably the best hotel in Chanchun. Restaurants are great, breakfast very good. Rooms are elegant and warm. Services are perfect and it is an ideal place for meetings and forums, there are several offices and meeting rooms for rent

I stayed again in Shangri-la again after almost 10 years. The signs of age was obvious but it is still one of the bests. It is placed in the business centre of the city and surrounded by stores and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff are very good and service is great, but it comes at price!

Situated downtown, near to restaurants, locals and night life. Upgrade to club floor RMB 200 worth it. Private breakfast, nice evening coctail and snacks. Rooms spacious and nice view. Good staff, well english speaking.

This hotel is nice service was great the area is good. Check in and check out very quick and efficient the bed is ok the shower ok the room a bit small. Everything is very old and worn. Cannot open a window. Good service can only take you so far if the the shape of the property is so outdated.

The hotel was very nice and meet my expectations for a Shangrila chain hotel but the cost is way above the average nice hotel in China. The hotel is located in an expensive and lively shopping area of the city with many nearby restaurants. You will not be disappointed with a stay at this hotel.

The hotel is not new. The room is simple, and the bed is comfortable. In the toilet, I like the small stand mounted on the wall for putting the mobile phone. The bath tub doesn't have an extension cord. The breakfast is average, and the lunch buffet is more or less the same thing. Despite we have re-confirmed our late... More

The best choice in Changchun. Stayed on the club floor. Breakfast was good. Just don't have the expectation that this will compare to a Shangri La in a major city. Tired hotel that needs a major facelift. Surprisingly gym is very good. Service is better than the physical hotel and decent communication in English. About 30 to 40 minutes from... More

An unplanned business trip in February brought me from Texas to Changchun's bitter cold to the bone (-20F) weather and snow. But even in the farthest reaches from the U.S., there is a tad creepy sort of comfort knowing that Wal-Mart and KFC are across the street. Hotel and service is excellent overall, with a rather large multi-level shopping mall... More

I came to Changchun on a business trip, and fortunately our company have a discount rate with the Shangri-La group. The hotel is in the heart of the city, next door to a high-end shopping mall. As you walk through the doors, you are greeted with a light aroma (vanilla think) and hear music in the background. Check-in is made... More

Don't stay here. The facilities are nice but the staff is extremely rude and although the food was good, the timeliness and personnel was very poor. The room was hot and required opening the window to cool the room down which in turn allowed noise and pollution in.
