Very nice hotel, excellent staff, nice set-out good size rooms. Breakfast however was a bit below what I expect from a hotel of this class, but not bad. Location nice by the river, with good views from top floors and business lounge, but not very central, however close to the museum.

Not a 5 star hotel but very adequate. This is my forth stay here. Clean, English speaking staff. Having taught the cook how to do scrambled egg, breakfast was good! And all for £47.00 per night. Cant be bad at that price.

Stayed there for one night during a business trip to Nanchang. Centrally located, good service. Rooms are of adequate size and well furnished. Free wifi available. Breakfast buffet above Chinese standard. As we stayed there during the Yangmei season, we got a basket of fruit for a welcome gift. Nicely done! The street behind the hotel houses a row of... More

The minus points are :- 1) The property is pretty old. 2) The cooks at breakfast are pretty moody. The Plus Points :- 1) Got picked-up from the airport and the best part of all since they knew we were foreigners they sent an english speaking staff along with the driver to welcome us and he also brought some refreshments.... Stayed in the old, filthy hotel, no service received, had wedding there but the standard is horrible! Table cloth and chair covers are wrinkled and room cleanliness was a nightmare, condom and water bottle underneath the bed, more importantly after bought up to management attention only received one reply, and problem still not been solved yet but no more replies... We spent 1 night here in transit. Check in was a challenge due to our lack of mandarin. Hotel room old. Beds rock hard, like sleeping on a table. Behind and under beds dirty with dead flies, toe nail clippings and a couple of band aids. Swimming pool closed due to Golden Week. Redeeming feature was the bar.... Very cheap... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our adoption trip to China. Our agency booked it for us. The hotel had every amenity that new adoptive parents could need - room service, free stroller use, real cribs (not travel cribs), baby bath and toys, etc. The staff was so warm and friendly and went out of their way... It is not even a 2 star hotel, the rooms were small and the furniture was too old. I do not advise you to walk barefoot as the carpets we too old and filthy. The bathrooms were so conventional, small and lacked the minimum touch of a standard hotel. The gym was too old and the Equipments were rusty and... More

Granted, we had rain during our stay at this hotel and that exacerbated the grime problem but this is not a 5 star hotel as advertised. Rooms were ok, breakfast buffet ok. We ate dinner in the hotel each night, I had spaghetti both nights as rest of menu was somewhat of a mystery. The waiter in our section of... More
