A month in Wuxi staying at the Ramada/Marriot New courtyard. I am writing this after staying for one week at the Ramada. I feel it is long enough to get the feel at least for the hotel.

The hotel is the tallest building in the area and is very pleasent to look at. It features 3 restuarants (Chinese/Japanese/Western..Cafe style).

Staff are all very polite and good natured and speak pretty good English. The hotel is what you would expect (very grand entrance, polite staff. etc.) from a 3/4 star hotel. The restuarants are all very nice and do a wide selection of dishes.

One down point to the Ramamda is the quality of the beds. if you are used to sleeping on a wooden board then you will like the beds in the hotel. I asked for a different room with a more comfortable bed but unfortunately ALL the beds in the hotel were hard.
