Stayed here for 2 nights recently. The setting is by lovely Lake Lihu. Rooms are really large and well equipped. Food (breakfast only experienced) was excellent with really wide variety of Chinese options and plenty of Western options too. The lake view rooms have beautiful view on a fine day. I experienced the beautiful scene of folks young and old... More

This is as good as it gets in "small town" China. The restaurant was magnificent; service, presentation, speed, décor, ambience and tastiness. We were brought here by a wealthy local producer and I was suitably impressed. No doubt it was expensive by Chinese standards but a bargain compared to fine dine dining in Europe or USA.

I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel while traveling for business. The room was well appointed overlooking Lake Tai and Wuxi City. Check in was easy, but it is China so English is not so good. (They thought my colleague and I were together and gave us one room, so we had to explain to them that I had... More

Stayed only 1 night in the hotel but would have liked to stay longer! Got a free upgrade and the room was super big with a huge toilet! Room was super clean and bed was very comfortable! Surrounding is nice and quiet and there is a Jumbo restaurant which serves good food. Might not be too good for people who... More

Hotel has one of the best beds I have ever slept on. Quality of sleep was very good. However rooms in the old block were too warm, even in December! I could not switch on the Air-Conditioning. Food was not bad either, but catering more for local tastes rather than international. Location was peaceful and scenic. Good place for some... More

The hotel is a Chinese 5 Star rated hotel that is only comparable with 4 star of International classification. The rooms are clean and comfortable and has an excellent breakfast comprehensive spread of Chinese and American food that is one of the best in China in terms of quality, variety and savory food. The Chinese restaurant serves authentic Wuxi dishes... More

High price for a Chinese Hotel with a very nice structure and location. Nevertheless I stay three nights in a room (n° 1033) in which the ambient temperature was not lower than 29 °C day and night. I let you imagine how many hours a guy can sleep in this condition. Several complain were not enough to obtain any result,... More

The Hubin is a nice place to stay. It's a step or two above the average in Jiangsu. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is very good, but the dining can be a little crowded. Excellent location outdoor walkabouts or running around Li Hu. Take time out to have a drink at the bar upstairs..great view. Dinner at... More

Had an overnight stay and never again. Room temp stayed at 24* regardless of setting ... couldn't even feel any air movement - just alot of fan noise. Got no sleep a went to work next day tired and with a headache. Too bad as everything else was nice. Will not stay again.

Good quality hotel, room very comfortable and good value for money. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, good choice of eastern and western cuisine. Only downside is that the hotel is a long way from the city centre, 30 mins by bus.
