We stayed in this hotel for two nights and had a very good experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, the restaurant and buffets are excellent and the rooms are large and comfortable. Business is rather slow in Suzhou these days, so we were able to book the hotel for a good deal. The only slight drawback is its location... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Shangri-la Hotel as part of a tour package with Trafalgar (Uniworld) Tours. The room was magnificent, and the staff was extremely helpful. The hotel featured a wonderful breakfast buffet that included both Western breakfast items as well as Chinese and Japanese selections. I highly recommend this hotel. more
