I spent three nights in this lovely hotel and although I paid rmb three hundred ninety-one per night for a small single room, I felt it was worth the fare. Why? Clean, safe, great location (just a few minutes walk from Guanqian Street--a landmark pedestrian shopping and restaurant area), and a wonderful buffet breakfast. B-fast, to be sure, is 90%... More

Being my first time to China has been an experience in itself and so my review should be seen in this light. Having already spent 2 days in Shanghai I was already familiar with the frequent car horns and crossing the road at ones peril. The taxi from the train station to the hotel takes ~15-30mins depending on the time... More

Stayed for 3 nights in March 2014 with a group touring traditional Chinese gardens. Rooms spacious and well appointed, able to open the window for fresh air. Room has small fridge and safe, bathroom appointed with shower over a large bath and pull out clothesline above. Check in staff are very friendly and efficient, the concierge always able to answer... Very polite and considerate staff at the hotel. This is a first time I encounter hotel staff asking whether I need to check out late. It is free until 2 pm. The hotel also provide their own tourist map recommending places to visit. Location is good as it is right at the shopping area and quite near certain attractions.

This hotel is central to the commercial shopping district in Suzhou but is not easy to fine especially by car although they do have free parking in the basement. Rooms are a little small but well maintained and the service is good.

This hotel is well located in the commercial city centre and within walking distance of several important sites and gardens in the old town. My room was well appointed and clean and the air-conditioning functioned quite well. Breakfast was good quality, primarily Chinese, with some limited western offerings. The staff were friendly and efficient. I only stayed one night and... More

The followings are evidence that I would say its service is excellent, though some rooms are relatively smaller. Housekeeping: As the room was offered one quilt, they sent us one more and a heater immediately and initiatively while I requested on phone. Besides, I informed them there was a lightbulb of desk lamp being out of order during late night,... More

We only stayed here for one night, but I was very impressed by the rooms and the location. All of the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and nice and modern. The view from the rooms was not good, but that was the only real negative. Breakfast was nice.

Located in central Suzhou, this hotel tries to be a 4-star, but comes across as a 3. It had a musty smell in the entire hotel. I’m not sure if it was the hotel itself, however, since I noticed a similar smell outside in the city itself. The carpet was dirty and the room décor was well-dated and plain. There... More
