I certainly didn't expect it to be as good as the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, but the room is too old, even for Wuhan. Also don't even try the egg Benedict,it doesn't even look like a proper egg Benedict!!! I know Wuhan quite well and I always stay in New World Hotel Wuhan. The service there is marvellous, much better than this one,the... More

While not particularly well located, the Renaissance Wuhan is truly a calming presence in the middle of chaotic Wuhan. The property itself is just a typical Renaissance, which is a very good thing. It was very modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable. What sets the Renaissance Wuhan is the wonderful staff, whom were very attentive and genuinely caring. In particular, the... More

Was there for 2 nights (using MR points) with my family. Hearing that we were travelling with two young kids (1 & 4), the folks at the front desk upgraded us to a 1-bedroom suite. Nice touch. Being a Gold MR member, I was given access to the Executive Lounge (21st floor), which is open from 6:00a-12:00midnight everyday. The food... More

Overall the hotel is a great place to stay in Wuhan - obviously depending on where you need to go. I've been at this hotel for business purposes a couple of times and the service is always great. Maintenance can sometimes be a problem with Chinese hotels but this one seems to be well maintained. Lobby is a little small... More

This is a great hotel and the best part is their services and people. My colleagues and I arrived late to the hotel and dinner buffett would be closed in 30 minutes. When my college went to get some steaks, there were not much left. So the service people just5went to kitchen and cooked & prepared a plate full of... More

The only reason we came to Wuhan was to visit our son-most people are here on business. This hotel catered well for both tourists and business people. There are only a few standout tourist venues spread across this big city and so the handy metro station ( 10 min walk) is a bonus. The facilities at the hotel are good... More

Spent 2 nights in this hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Helped us with all of our requests. Wuhan is a big sprawling city, that seems to lack a center. It's definitely not a walking town, so the location is fine. If you have business in wuhan or need a place to get away from the tough town, this... More

Travelling to China for Business is always quite stressful and therefore the hotels usually have to make up for it at least to a certain degree. During my trip, the Renaissance Hotel provided an average impression. The rooms were rather small and although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, It smelled a bit like this used to be... More

I stayed at this hotel several times. It locate at Wuchang area and about 40km from the Wuhan Tianhe airport which took me about 90 RMB taxi fee(include the high way toll). The location is good I think althogh I never have a city tour of Wuhan. There is a Metro market just right beside of the hotel with couple... More

It is definitely a Marriott Chain standard Hotel. Flawless, efficient and warm service. Clean, well maintained and function facilities and room. Breakfast was impressive serving both western and local items. It served some of Wuhan local specialties like the 热干面 which was done to perfection. I especially enjoy the executive lounge which was attended by 2 of the most attentive... More
