I stayed in this hotel 2-3 years ago and this time I returned and stayed for 1 night. It's getting better. Room is clean and the bathroom is reasonably good. It's flat TV now and overall it's a decent room with good space. My room offered me a view of the river bank and it's very pleasant. Breakfast is very... More

This was the first stop of our tour and the first hotel. It is just beautiful! Given the low cost of the tour I was pleasantly surprised. They offer English speaking front desk staff and are very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. There is a lovely park right across the street which is worth visiting.

Stayed here for only one night as part of a tour group with Sinorama Tours. The room we were given did not have a river view, unfortunately, but rather overlooked part of the city. The location is good right on the river and across from the river park - which is very nice and large. I would recommend that you... More

Was pleasantly surprised. I went to Wuhan for a three week business trip. China is not one of my favorite destinations by any stretch of the imagination, but the welcome from the staff here and assistance, when required, was second to none. Have a walk down by the river and see the colorful sights of kites flying, children playing and... More

At over 1000 yuan per night this hotel is overpriced for what you get. The rooms are not big. The bathroom is small. I stayed in November and the heat could not be adjusted. They did bring a fan but the room still felt like a sauna to me (okay, it was 26C). The included breakfast buffet was very good;... More

I stayed there several times and actually hotel is very good with excellent river view. Rotating roof restaurant is excellent. Only flaw was that there was tobacco odor in non smoking rooms, I think management will need to work hard to ban clients not to smoke in non smoking places.

I stayed for work in and was surprised by the size of the rooms - which were very large and had great views of the river... However despite being a '5*' hotel it is very tired and dated, towels and bedding etc are worn down. Room service was one of the bonuses with surprisingly good western food.

This hotel is situated in the old part of town. You see a lot of colonial style buidings but it also means that the area is run down with a lot of slummy buildings. The nearby restaurant we ate at served the worst meal of all our time in China, better you should pay the extra to eat at the... More

Stayed for 3 nights on business, okay location, close to quite a few restaurants, and SoHo Bar :) Rooms are comfortable and spacious, well appointed and clean. Only a few of the front office staff speaks English, same with 2nd floor restaurant. Ate in the restaurant/cafe on the first night, ordered ribeye....was served a 'new york strip' slice of mystery...
