Hotel was good for a conference but no good for networking with Europeans after events. No Bar!! Food very average and too much stir fired BullFrog for my liking. But great staff and very friendly. Nice location on the Lake but a little far to walk for the town and shopping. Taxis not easy to get. No one knew where... More

I stayed in this hotel during my business travel in Wuhan. Hotel is fine bur unfortunately the first room they gave us is quite hot. This was during summer season in Wuhan. But they moved us to another room and everything is OK. All rooms has its own wifi and foot massage . Its good to walk around the lake... More

I restrict my comments to the hotel and not Wuhan itself which although interesting I would not recommend as a place to visit. I stayed for 7 nights in this hotel. I had a nice room on the 5th floor facing the lake. It was by Western prices a good deal, I paid 400 RMB per night. The room was... More

NIce decor in a hotel built and decorated in a traditional style. Grounds, which were well done, were separated from the busy, uncrossable street outside. A nice boardwalk on the lake took one to the lake tea house and nice views. Breakfast was extensive with both Western and Chinese offerings including a make your own noodle bowl. Lunch was good.... I have been here for business purpose and it's a wonderful hotel. All the architecture of the building is chinese style and the service is pretty good. I have faced some problems with the cold and hot water in the bathroom. It looks like it's common to use very hot water in China, as other friends had same problems in... More

i'm staying here for a few nichts (5th floor, seaside). the hotel is a conference hotel, also bus groups are located here. the hotel is in the middle of wuhan, greatly located at one of the 1000 lakes. IF you have a seaside-located room you will have a nice and great view to the lake, really nice; if not you... More

I didn't actually stay there but had a business meeting/pickup in the spectacular lobby. We arrived early so asked to see some rooms with a view to possibly staying there on a future trip (we were staying at the Shangri-La). Rooms did not look impressive and had a strange smell.

Spent two nights at this beautiful hotel. Incredible lobby, including a fabulous dragon in the ceiling with a light bulb in its mouth. Statues and artwork line the hallways to guest rooms, with directed lighting creating a feel of walking through a museum. Room was compact, but clean and adequate for a single traveler or a romantic couple. Best bed... More

The Hotel is fine. My room was spacious and clean , bed comfortable. It had a view overlooking the lake, very nice. Very reasonably priced. Restaurant was fine. I took a taxi from the airport to the Hotel, 87 RMB on the metre excluding tip. I asked the Concierge about a taxt back to the airport, he said he would... More
