A good welcome from staff from the start, which set a positive tone for the stay; I found all the staff helpful and pleasant throughout. The room was clean and elegant, with extras which are always nice - fruit in the room, extra toiletries. I good stay.

Top marks for Roy, great concierge with a fine attention to detail. I appreciated his service. The hotel is good with a fantastic gym and good pool. Rooms were starting to look a little tired but I enjoyed my stay here. The Tori-Ji restaurant was decent.

This hotel is located on a side street and the city center. It is about one hour away from the high-speed rail station. Due to the constant subway construction in Wuhan, plan your travels with plenty of buffer time to and from this hotel. The gym equipment is a bit old, but functional. And the pool was a bit small:... What makes the Shangri-La Wuhan shine is its staff. From the moment you walk in the front door you are made to feel welcome and at home. Rooms are comfortable and immaculate but compared to newer properties a bit dated and small. Not that it is the hotel's fault but Wuhan traffic is atrocious and the street in front of... More

Felt like going back 50 years with the smells of old lady's perfume in the lobby.  Rated as "5-star' by Chinese standards, but more like 4 stars on the international scale.  The Shangri-la hotels seem to really have a local Asian flavor all around. Even though was built in the late 1990s, this hotel looks fairly aged from the outside... More

I only stayed here for 3 hours...we were supposed to arrive in the evening, but from a car ride delay, we didn't get to the hotel until 3 am and then had to leave at 6 a.m. All i can say is the hotel is beautiful, clean, staff are excellent and very helpful and freindly. The rooms were as pictures... More

The staff is wonderful and the swimming pool and gym are really nice. Additionally, they have a very relaxing changing room including two different saunas and jacuzzis. I will definitely return if I visit Wuhan again!

The air conditioner did not work. Called for help. Nobody sovled the problem. Instead, they argued. The room was freezing. The next day, when left the hotel, i caught a cold, coughed badly. I will never choose this hotel any more.

Everything at Wuhan Shangri-La was charming and efficient. Every need was met including a last minute change to reservation; in fact the hotel set up our unanticipated next stop. Compliments all around

Great option while staying in Wuhan. Incredibly friendly atmosphere and service. A great gym, including steam, sauna, jacuzzi and pool. Located in the financial district of Wuhan so not much to see/do.
