Zhengzhou itself seems very much like a town without a heart and soul. There are new buildings cropping up everywhere, but little else. The Xingya Jianguo Hotel is located in quite potentially the most lifeless part of the city (at least at this stage as more buildings are almost complete). The hotel is dated but comfortable.
