Stayed here as it was booked by the local university. Very pretty hotel, lobby not heated, very cold. Rooms with what is labeled as heating control, but no difference noted with settings. No closet or storage space, just 1 wooden suit stand. Shower floor very slippery and bed was the hardest one i encountered in Asia. Everything was very clean,... More

I stayed at this centrally located hotel on a recent first-time work visit to Zhengzhou University, upon the recommendation of my local colleagues. My visit was very short and I only stayed for two nights, the first of which was a very late arrival after midnight. I had been anxious whether there would be any difficulties with such an unexpected... More

Hotel is OK for a local business trip. Quite clean and spacious and I reckon about the best hotel in the city. Staff speak OK English. The hotel is very Chinese but does cater fairly well for foreigners with adapters available, some OK Western food and so on.

With late arrival and early leave, I did not fully experience the hotel. The hotel is a probably a bit outdated. The room is large and fully equipped. The bathroom could use some repairs and . The "re-decoration", the rooms are a bit "smelly" (old carpet, people smoking), you get a retrofit CRT TV (my had geometry problems and noise... More

Clean. Spacious. Lobby has wifi. Each room has internet cable. A huge sports complex is attached to it so you can use their gym, Olympic-size pool, badminton courts, table tennis, etc. for free. Front Desk people do not speak English though. Breakfast is also catered to mainly local taste only.

A bit dated in terms of decor perhaps in need of refreshment. As the only foreigner in the hotel at the time it was a pleasant surprise to find some staff who spoke English. The staff were pleasant and smiley. A smile makes up for a lot. The advertised Western food of course did not exist although there was a... More

I've stayed there two nights in the basic rooms. My customer booked that for me. Thats a regular Chinese quality, classic in non-popular cities. Non-english speaking front desk. Outdated room and old furnitures, spacious rooms, acceptable hygiene.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while we visited the Shaolin temple complex and Song mountain area. Stayed with partner and a friend - we both had suites consisting of a sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. All rooms spacious and clean. Bed was king sized, but a little hard (as is usual in China). Air con barely functional (again... More
