I would definitely suggest you this hotel if you are okay with Chinese standards hotel. The best thing of this hotel is for sure the location, as you are just right on the famous pedestrian street, zhongyang jie. This is a good hotel for Chinese Standard, firm bed, clean bathroom, warm room and good breakfast, therefore you can't require more... More

This hotel offers great value and is in a fantastic location. It is only 1 block away from Zhaolin park where the lantern festival (smaller version of the Snow and Ice Festival) is located. The entrance is in the South of the park which is a 5min walk and costs 200RMB (January 2014). It is also 1 block away from... More

My wife and I stayed here for three days, Jan 10-12, 2014. We didn't expect much English and therefore we were not disappointed. They made efforts to understand. Our room on the eighth floor was toasty warm, bed comfortable and clean, bathroom fine. Breakfast for one (we had to pay for the second one) was included. The second floor breakfast... More

We checked in the hotel and asked for a non-smoking room, the reception said they do not have non smoking room as they could not restrict anyone from smoking in the hotel area. Later, we wanted to get a late supper and asked for nearby restaurant from the same reception, she said she doesn’t know. So we decided to just... More

Stayed for 1 night on 12 Jan 2013 For a lady travelling alone, this hotel is great as it is relatively safe, rooms are comfy and location is fantastic. Price is resonable too. Further, this hotel allows us to book without making an advance payement so for us foreigners with international credit cards, this is one less area to worry... More

We were offered a free upgrade, because they had given away our reservation, for having arrived at 9pm. The room was dirty, with mud marks and other unidentifiable stains. The bathroom tub/shower was dirty, and there was a leak coming from the ceiling, dripping through the downlight. The bathroom door had no working lock mechanism, so the door would continually... Not a bad hotel. Conveniently located 10 mins walk to the river and 2 mins from the main shopping street : Zhongyang St. Comfortable bed and warm. Breakfast is a mix of Chinese and Western. Coffee could be better but there is a decent selection of juices and soy. Cleaning staff are friendly and rooms cleaned each day with amenities... More

Should have read foreigners reviews, although they are misleading. The carpets are quite the most nauseating and filthy-no vacuuming and covered in stains and millions of hairs. No english t.v channels.Towels thin and grey.Yes,there is free wifi and its near main street.Dont stay here if you can get better. Not much in the eating out dept, either.Everyone friendly enough.

The location is perfect, just in the city center, close to the river, restaurants, shops. The room is OK, bed comfortable, but overall: hotel is dirty. The carpet with many stains (you wouldn't take off your shoes!) and it seems hotel has never cleaned it. Also when housekeeping comes, never refill amenities, never clean well, the shower for example. The... More

THis hotel is OK. It is in an excellent location. THe decor sligly dated- but OK0 nothing to worry about. I would have thought that a hotel which had a fair proportin of western guests would make a few attempts to make them feel at home- eg coffee in room (not just tea). A little more English in the signs... More
