I was a bit anxious staying here after reading some reviews, but it was perfect for my Harbin requirements. Centrally located, good value, warm, clean and functional. The breakfast is not great, but you get what you pay for. The food court (and supermarket) underneath is a godsend. The hotel taxi service seems to be slightly exploitative, but if you... More

Cheap and clean basic hotel; noisy and compact. I shared with a friend, and needed to store my suitcase under the bed. Also, you will hear *everything* through the bathroom door... There was also noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms at night. As others have mentioned, the beds are quite hard (and I prefer firmer mattresses). Staff did not... More

I took my family to Harbin for a long weekend. We booked 2 rooms at the Hotel Ibis Harbin. One room was recently remodeled and ok. The room had a ready made bathroom that had been recently installed and was quite nice. The 2nd room was older and appeared to be wheelchair friendly. Showering flooded the whole bathroom. The drain... More

Really impressed by this. I mean its not fancy but totally met our requirements for a quick weekend trip. Super clean. Can organise a car to airport for RMB150. Walking distance to everything in the city.

We came here for the Ice festival. Harbin is very cold but the hotel was constantly warm. It is an Ibis, so basic, but it was good value, clean and had adequate facilities. We did not have breakfast there or use the bar so cannot comment on these. There was no translated information regards the Ice festival in the hotel... More

Chain hotel with basic amenities, fuss free and reasonable for the price RMB339/night during the ice festival. Room came with a hair dryer, bottled water, kettle, hot shower, toothbrush, good heater, clear TV channels. Clean sheets and strong room wifi (free). Was given a corner room away from the main corridor so I was spared from loud noises like running... More

This hotel is a good place to stay and is reasonably priced. It is a short walk to most tourist attractions in the center. There are many restaurants in the vicinity and it is easy to get a taxi. The rooms are rather small but there is an abundance of things o do around town so you won't spend much... More

ROOM: Sorry there are so many harsh and I think unfair prior reviews as they had us extremely worried ahead of time. Think basic, appreciate the very low price you are paying and you have made a great choice for a Harbin hotel for a short, extremely well-located stay for the Harbin Ice Festival. Clean, efficient, everything you need for... More

Clean and warm rooms. Hard beds, but nice bedding. Chaotic front desk at check out, but didn't get too held up. Great location. ................................................................................................................................................................................

The IBIS Harbin is fantastically located close to Centre Street (the pedestrian walking mall that goes from the Flood Memorial to the Holiday Inn) and maybe 3 blocks to St Sophia Russian Church. The breakfast is barely adequate--i've had better Ibis breakfasts than this one. The room and decor is classic Ibis. Unfortunately the mattresses are classic Chinese--imagine rocks pounded... More
