When we first arrived at the hotel we were horrified to discover that it was nothing like what we had anticipated. The rooms are dingy, very dirty, old, and not well cared for. The location is nice and the seaview is beautiful but those were the only good things about our stay. The staff were rude and not at all helpful. The "western breakfast" was totally Chinese, with the exception of fried eggs. The only way to get internet access is to pay to use the common computer in the lobby. The hotel employs a male massuese that waits in the lobby and harrasses you as you come and go, soliciting business. He also knocked on our door at 11:30pm two nights of our stay. The hotel doesn't have its own chairs and umbrellas on the beach so you have to pay to use them, and if you want to go to the pool it is quite a hike. We upgraded our room just so that we could have a slightly cleaner one, but the carpets were worn and filthy, the bathroom was old and had mold and mildew growing... more
